Longest Lived

What's the longest lived character you've ever heard of?  Purely curious.  Maybe staff knows.  Wondering what is the longest days played character Arm has ever had.

I played one for 2.7-2.8 RL years. When he died I was glad to be able to do something new to be honest and he died how I always imagined and hoped it happen, not falling/ Passing out drunk while logged in/ NPCs thankfully, so I was very satisfied with the death.

Days played around 140.

I took a lot of risks with him so I was very surprised he lived as long as he did. I hope some of you enjoyed interacting with him!

I never intended him to be a leader due to his rigid individualist personality, and the anarco-socialist nature of his clan was designed around listening to each other and freedom and individuality.

He detested Sorcerers and Slaver-Lords and those who served them.

There were a lot of good times, playing with those of you I played with.

You know who you are you diamonds. Kudos to you all over those years, there were some great adventures and battles.

I can't share any specific details for a long time due to game rules.

The longest I have ever seen played was Lord Timeotho Fale I think. He aged so much that he could no longer stay concious while using a single way from memory, so ICly he died in his sleep as an old man.

Very well played and machiavellan PC whoever that was!

Personally,

I don't have Oseres Kadius in the list, because he was before biographies worked (2004), but he was around 74 days lived - but he only lived for 12 months.

You win Armageddon, congratulations!  Type 'credits', then store your character and make a new one

Depends on whether you mean in RL time like Inks' multiple wolves PC, or if you mean like days played because I've seen people pack on the time in short periods of time.

A few that pop out in my mind:
Timo Fale, because he was having age-related heartattacks
Masa

Personally? Probably a mix between Legion Sergeant Creek or Byn Sergeant Rush. Neither were particularly super-long-lived, but they had 50-70 days played on them by the end I think.

Masks are the Armageddon equivalent of Ed Hardy shirts.

Timo Fale by far. One of my favorite RP moments ever was when he and I tricked a templar into thinking I was killing him in his estate. Lol. Great Player whoever that was/is.

Armageddon is best when it's actually harsh and brutal, not when we're only pretending that it is.

Timotheo, Flow, Masa. Also Sargax started out as a PC and I believe by the end, was an NPC - but he was pretty long-lived if I remember right.

My personal longest was just under a year and a half, her name was Binna and she met her end in July of 2022. Also known as Grebs, she was a miscreant/wind_illusion bondmate of a mul PC who died long before she did.

Her ending was an epic tragedy.

Pearl Terash?  Ysania Kadius?  Weren't they like super long lived?  I wasn't paying attention to how long other people lived at that point, I was dying too much and just got constantly reminded from time to time that they were STILL alive.

Longest PCS I've ever interacted with were easily Brand or Timotheo, old fucks.

My longest was Calik, 16-18. Not super old by any means but I had a lot of fun.

#1 Timotheo moment was when he told my aide that the friction in the house was because me and another noble were "man hating lesbians".

I had heard stories that Red Meso was over 250 days played.  I wonder, too, about characters like Tallis, Raleris.  Timotheo, too.  How many days played does one get after several RL years?  I had a couple characters live to the two year mark, 89 and 65 dp respectively, but I'm fairly sure that doesn't scratch the surface of what has been.  I'm simply curious if anyone knows the most days played on any character.  Thanks for the replies.   :)

i'll step in and say 120 years, 80+ days played is up there.

My longest was Nell, at 122 days, 6 hours, 20 minutes before deciding on storage to do other things.

Then I had Fairuza at 75 days, 8 hours, 41 minutes before storage once again.

Lady Templar Dorothea (Thea) Salarr was 44 days, 6 hours, 19 minutes before, once again, storage.

And Sylania al'Raekeen was just behind her at 42 days, 10 hours, 24 minutes (yep, storage XD).

Pretty sure I had one or two before bios were saved on the site that got up in those ranges, specifically a Wyvern character I played, but I truly don't remember.

My longest was Otikus at 142 days and 22 IG years - the Magistrate of the Jade Sabers Legion and Jal bastard. The long standing AOD crew was of course Samos Rennik, Lieutenant Paryl and the Sergeant played by Gimfalisette.

My second was Faithful Lord Aon Uaptal- clocked in at 68 days over an IRL year.

See, Drovian half giant had 51 days. I've a few others at 20-30 days played: Nameless, the Red Storm amnestic, Corporal Strike, Salt-Eye, Yeek, Violent Prize.

Longest templars I remember:
Samos, Malenthis, Elithan, Eunoli, that other Lirathan who's name escapes me, the Allanaki Inquisitor.

Sorcerer- the Plainsman is the longest lasting I can remember.

Agents/Merchants/Advisors/GMH- there's quite a few. All the Pearls, Tasok, Brand, Shatuka, Dueden, Rink, Midge...
I tripped and Fale down my stairs. Drink milk and you'll grow Uaptal. I know this guy from the state of Tenneshi. This house will go up Borsail tomorrow. I gave my book to him Nenyuk it back again. I hired this guy golfing to Kadius around for a while.

Tallis would be my guess, she had to be one of the longest hands down.

My own best was Agent Brethel-da of House Kurac, at 147 days.
Played him from the age of 25 to 53, though I believe I did take a break for a while.
It looks like it was from 2006 to 2010?
Crazy times.

They can't, really. The GMH's donate their children to the templar program, where they proceed to be brainwashed by said program until they lose most or all loyalty to their clan.

It's really just a regular last name rather than a clan at that point.

I think zeal to the Highlord or Sun King trumps any familial loyalty no matter where they come from. Assuming that a Dasari Faithful Lady will side with Dasari or a Borsail Lord Templar with side with Borsail is not a given.

Not to derail this thread too much, but anyone can become a Templar, even a basic commoner, to my understanding. It's just an extremely rare happening. There's even a famous GMH-named Templar in the timeline if I remember right!  :D  I believe (I could be wrong) that Templars are predominantly from noble blood, simply because noble blood = better blood, and thus more suited to carrying out His Law.

Like Narf said (better than I could have) though, there's a big brainwash that happens to kill all that loyalty to family, to ensure a Templar's focus is on Allanak/Highlord, and not their blood family.

(Thea was a total nepo-baby; her Red Robe father had a fling with a Salarri woman, they had Thea, and he decided his bastard blood was going to follow in his footsteps.)

Top 4 longest lived of mine would be :

Xirana/Rexxi - 58 days and 22 hours
Niano Akerri - 72 days and 9 hours
Ryssa Salarr - About 50 days
[REDACTED] Because it hasn't been a year since departure. - 110 days and 19 hours

My Personal longest lived were:
Ryali - Played for 310 days, 23 hours, 59 minutes. She aged 22 ic years (Which accrued over 3 rl years)
(Stored)
Kajora Salarr- Played for 95 days 11 hours and 30 mins
(Elfed)

Marassanya (aka Sanya or Sergeant Fierce of the Byn) - Played for 95 days and 2 hours.
(Executed)

6 RL months seems to be the hump I've yet to fully clear.

Lohar, Flavio, and Guaril all ended up around there for various reasons.

I might have a couple of others that reached that mark. But those are the three that come to my mind when I think of my longest lived.
I remember recruiting this Half elf girl. And IMMEDIATELY taking her out on a contract. Right as we go into this gith hole I tell her "Remember your training, and you'll be fine." and she goes "I have no training." Then she died

It seems 30 days played is the part where I really taper off, heh.
I'd like to one day play a really long lived PC, but the PCs I enjoy usually are quick to die heh.
Try to be the gem in each other's shit.

Wow lots of memories seeing some of the names on everyone's lists!

Flay
Human
Played from 24 years old to 51
Assassin / Jeweler
Born in Allanak.
Never killed Anybody lol
She was my longest, over 2RL, same timeline as Red Meso we were best buds heh

Mika/krathi, Kilento/whiran, and Walker/elkros were 3 of my longest lived gemmed at about 30-40 days played each

Kilento had the most insanely savage death of any character I've ever played though, she wins that prize!  Even another player who was there to bear witness reached out to me afterwards just to say Holy Fuckin' Shit That Was Crazy!

59 days 14hours is my longest. A sorcerer named the Plainsman.  He lived roughly 3 RL years, so that's what, about 20 days a RL year, which isn't a lot, considering.  He was a pretty powerful sorcerer, became well known.  And had the most lame, typical Armageddon death.  I screwed up and lost my bearings and walked straight into the Silt Sea death room by accident.
