My current character is the thirteenth on this account over the course of about a year.  On my old account, in 2001, I think I might've had five or six over the course of six months or so.

Statistics wise, of the twelve dead/stored characters on this account, there are nine dead, three stored.

Fifth - dead a little more than a RL month I think.

edited out the "cause" of death on all but the 2nd since it's more than a year ago.

I remember when I first got my account notes. And for my first character is said - Killed by a pot bellied gurth, Amen. I was so embarrassed I felt the need to clarify it was actually a pot bellied gurth -AND- a raptor. There was definately a raptor. The poor wannabe-literate, fair-skinned, freckle endowed, dress wearing Ranger.

Since then I've had death by raider (whoop!), death by scrab, death by assassination (yay), death by 'rinth NPC, death by carru, and for my longest lived - death by templar execution. Sniff. That's all I can garner from my account notes, but after that there was a couple of death by NPC baddies, one magnificently animated Silt Horror and a storage (not out of lack of enjoyment, however, wasn't actually a bad character.)
