41 or 42 since 2000 (I was a bad newb).  Stored around 10, including my half-giant merchant.  Killed off another 5 because I didn't want to wait for storage.  2 insta-deaths in less than 5 hours.

I've played two rukkians, three rangers, two warriors, one krathi, one burglar, one assassin, one merchant, and one Lirathan.

Hm, this ought to be interesting.  My guild breakdown is as follows:

• Six Rangers
• Four Warriors
• Two Merchants
• One Assassin

Six characters in three and a half years or so.

PC 1 - Died virtually after being sent to birth a mul for Borsail.
PC 2 - Died in a Kuraci RPT fighting gith (my first experience with combat spam!)
PC 3 - Died in a plot to blow stuff up in Red Storm.
PC 4 - Died because Lesavius Oash thought she was plotting to kill him.
PC 5 - Stored because her clan was closing.

I've got about 130 since 2001.  I've actually cut down on how much I play the last few years because the number of dead PCs was getting embarrassing, y'know, so I don't become the next Delerak.  My PC can't die if I never log in!


Sure, I could just take safe city roles to slow the death march, but I like solo-rangering too much for my own good.

Does the mud keep track of how many accounts and PCs we have had since the game started? OR since the hack?

I could be wrong, but I think it keeps track of all characters since we switched to the accounts system, and I'm not sure when that was (a little before my time).  Before people would just make a character and not have an account (sometime before 1994 that's the oldest character I could find.)
