Wait.. are special orders no longer being accepted by merchants? Special in the sense that the merchant has to submit them to staff to have them made?

Orders are filled from what's available in the database. If something totally new is desired, then you'll need to find a mastercrafter with that specialty, and they are limited in the number of items they can submit, one per month. This became the policy last year.

I was not going to mention any names because my memory about this event which took place about 13 years is vague.

I was just going to write about the event from my (and their) point of view, again without mentioning any Immortal names.

P.S. They did like one particular Immortal at the time, but he wasn't in Armageddon at the time- he had his own MUD (or MUSH). I think it was Morgen or something like that.

I must say this is great, seeing as how I've put many years into playing the game I'm very interested in seeing this project continue and I like hearing the stories as many of you probably do :)

Morgenes was running Aldara.  A wonderful MUD that had some really kick-ass features I always hoped he would port to Arm, but never did.

Corpses as a PC "state" and not an "object" kicks ass (along with like two dozen other little details, like no inventory, parsed equipment descriptions, etcetera).

I love the purple-ish/blue hair! As this will be my first Christmas in the game it was neat to hear what could happen. :D The story was very interesting... cool that it's Arm-esque.
