emoting while walking and looking (and thinking too!)

I keep forgetting and can't seem to find docs for it, so I'm looking for some help.  How does one walk and emote at the same time.
Is it this :  w (with a limp)  or w (Looking a bit worried, @ quickly)  - just trying to get the right syntax.
Does it echo to your character when you do it?

What about looking?

Also, I think it would be cool if we could emote while thinking - often I want my character's body to reflect the thoughts in his mind so I end up typing too commands that could be just one  think (Jumping back) What the hell was that??

On the think idea - no one can "see" you think. They can't observe this with their eyes, in particular

So - if you were to

think (jumping back) What was that!

what do you expect the room echo to look like?

The pale man thinks something, jumping back.

But since no one can see your brain, how is it that anyone could watch you think?

maybe..

think (jumps back) What was that!

could produce

The pale man jumps back (while at the same time giving you the think message) ?

Regarding look and movement:

look pale curiously

The green woman looks at you curiously.

w (glancing over her shoulder at ~pack)

The green woman walks west, glancing over her shoulder at her purple backpack.

As far as think, I would want the same effect you get from doing something like this:  think Holy cow! ; em jumps back, a look of shock on his face...which is easy to do in a client, I suppose so it shouldn't be coded.  Heh.

You can emote in thinks already without needing extra pretty code.

It just won't show to anyone else... which it shouldn't, since you're thinking it.

If you're emoting something that's visible.. well, uh.. emote it. ;)

As I had said in the past, I often like to mix the Emote with think, as just like when I say and do things, I also think and do things.

For some reason the break up of the two just doesn't go as nicely. I wish there was code that allowes you to type them together and the actions are shown separately. It is hard to explain why I like them better that way, I suppose I would just like the flow more.

Think (smiles kindly to ~templar with a respect curtsey) You worthless piece of southern Kank shit, I should be spitting on you.

You think:

I think it would just make the flow of the emote and thought feel better. I know I would think and emote a lot more if I could do them at the same time.

I encourage you to inspect the documentation for your particular client.  If it is telnet, you might (not guaranteed) be S.O.L., but zMUD, mushclient, etc. all have the ability to create "macros" that do something like:

/thinkem (scratches his crotch) Hmmm...  I think I left my poison voulge at home.

Which would send to the mud:
emote scratches his crotch.
think Hmmm...  I think I left my poison voulge at home.

But kidding aside, awsome thanks I had no Idea.. I am once again going to think/emote so much now   Yay!

But I will be looking into this as of tonight, because it is always something that I wanted to do.. Expect a PM from me asking for help Mr. Smarty Pants Xygax.. :/
