Implying I ever go outside.

Is the lag over? I'm at school right now so I've got seven hours to pray
new goal, find Jihelus noble/aide and make it go play outside.

A ticket has been opened with our hosting provider to investigate.  The working theory is that we're sharing resources with a bad neighbor.

If that was the case, wouldn't we all be showing timed-outs and * * on the tracert? If I have no problem getting to the server, wouldn't it indicate that it's the game itself, and not the server? Here's my tracert:

Granted it's taking a kind of odd route to get from my hard drive to your cloud, but nothing is hanging anywhere, even at the destination.

Not necessarily. If the neighbor is taxing the VM host, it could affect the server without giving network traffic pause.

I never did like my neighbor.  >:(

Yeah, I did a bit of testing already from what I can do, it's not the Network, it's something with the Host as sedhr posted.
Ourla:  You're like the oil paint on the canvas of evil.

I forgot about all the complaints about lag and logged on. I started crafting something and 8 minutes later was like, "Why is this taking so long?"

Apparently the last time we had this issue it was caused by sharing hardware with our neighbor on the Node who was using all the available CPU.  We're all in the same boat, here's to hoping it gets sorted soon.

is it good yet?

Ah well you should just kill those PCs. They're not worth the time of plotting creatively against.

Seems to have cleared up! Logged in and did a little moving around, and it seems 100% better.

Ginka saw me post it, and said no.

Who is this 'lag' and how do I player complaint them

Let's just shitmug them.
A staff member sends you:
"Normally we don't see a <redacted> walk into a room full of <redacted> and start indiscriminately killing."

You send to staff:
"Welcome to Armageddon."

you two posting back to back like that is cracking me up.

Has this been addressed or will me logging in simply get my outside character eaten to death?

Don't log in

Yeah that's a big negative, two minute lag between typing in account and password.

MOOers and MUSHers unite! For this is the time where you social interactions may shine! Slowtypers may also rejoice, for everyone's speech comes through on the same line!

I love how there's almost 30 of us logged in right now. Just dealing with the lag like it ain't no shit.

I just got home, you better not be toying with my emotions... Haven't been able to walk more than six rooms in the past two days.
