Lag?

Getting several large (3-5 minute) lag spikes a day, but otherwise it runs fine.
Someone says, out of character:
     "Sorry, was a wolf outside, had to warn someone."

No, I had pretty awful lag / disconnects all day until just recently.

I can connect to the mud, but nothing comes from it. The website won't work for me at the moment, either.

I'm pretty sure people are aware But last night and through 11:30am today (that was the last I was on) Lag is horrendous. However, reconnecting seems to clear it up for whatever reason. Well it temporarily clears it up. Ping times are good under 25 ms for me so that's not it. And it seemed the game just died two or three times last night. Any information on when this might be cleared up?

I've been getting some lag, but I'm also getting "lost" commands. Sometimes I enter commands, and nothing happens. They're getting lost on the way to Ginka, maybe. Or hoovered up by the NSA.

I am also experiencing lost commands. Mostly look commands and emotes. I've found if I reconnect it temporarily fixes the problem. I also find if I say something either say, tell, or talk commands and then do help and something it restores everything to working correctly. Quite an odd problem. I thought I was the only one with it.

Just got disconnected and can't log in again - get the starting screen but everything hangs at the pword prompt. Not sure what's up.  All other systems are go.

www.network-tools.com and do a trace route?

That should show you if there's a disproportionate amount of latency on your end.
I know I've not gotten any lag the last couple days.

Looks like there is a problem with the New York fiber. Should only affect people north of it from the looks of things.

This problem has been happening off and on for the past three or four days. Severe packet loss to that same address as shown in the above trace. Its there for a two to five minutes and then clears. I just haven't had a chance to get a capture of things yet. I will the next time it happens.

I'm getting this every few hours. I end up having to break connection and log back in and it's back to normal.

Yeah sorry same here, I was out in the wilds so no way I could take the time to do anything. In an extremely dangerous area too.
