once had a character with a lot of really cool tattoos that weren't coded.

I once wanted a coded tattoo for my character, so I wrote up a whole bunch of tattoos that were eventually made available to everyone.  Now I see my handiwork on probably 75% of the characters in game.  I wish I'd put a little more effort into writing them.

...and I just saw a kank in-game.  :P

found an old mount ticket? :)
I tripped and Fale down my stairs. Drink milk and you'll grow Uaptal. I know this guy from the state of Tenneshi. This house will go up Borsail tomorrow. I gave my book to him Nenyuk it back again. I hired this guy golfing to Kadius around for a while.

I once had a byn Sergeant, whom had at the time the strong PC group in game
underneath him. We decided to enter the table lands and [some IC stuff happened]. Long Story
short the events that happen led to the demise of that entire group of PCs, Several
northern and southern Templars, and various other pcs.

Armageddon is best when it's actually harsh and brutal, not when we're only pretending that it is.

I play my character casually.

Y'know, four hours every other day or so.  And I'm happy with it.

Take that, Crackageddon!
she said slow down this train
slow down the iron that runs in my veins

I blew up half of Tuluk.
Nessalin: At night, I stand there and watch you sleep.  With a hammer in one hand and a candy cane in the other.  Judging.

I was there when Sergeant Zoan died.  We had to retreat under fire and never did recover the body.

At one point that particular character of mine was simultaneously enclanned in House Fale, the Arm of the Dragon, and the T'Zai Byn.  Which isn't really all that special, but it's probably a little too early to really brag on him.
The sword is sharp, the spear is long,
The arrow swift, the Gate is strong.
The heart is bold that looks on gold;
The dwarves no more shall suffer wrong.

I was the "Carrot" to Zoan's "Captain Vimes."  At his side from private to sarge, though I was on to another role before his end.  Wish I'd been there to be slaughtered at his side.

Good times.

(Paraphrased off the top of my head, so not nearly as awesome as it was):

Holding up a rolled tube of spice, Zoan says in sirihish,
"See this?  This ain't a tube of spice."

Saluting brightly, Thunkkin says in sirihish,
"Yessir, Private!  It must be something else, sir, cleverly disguised as a tube of spice.  You must use that for covert, under-cover operations and flushing out spice dealers."

After a long pause, Zoan say in sirihish, tucking away the tube,
    "Right.  Exactly what you said."

You go south and one of the other directions that isn't north.  That is seriously the limit of my geographical knowledge of Arm.
Sarge?

Haaarrr, you guys make me feel like I was a legend.  :-*

Shield Wall of Allanak, sir.

But ultimately Zoan died alone.  (But that's his story to tell.)

The arrow swift, the Gate is strong.

Most people didn't even believe I was dead, I discovered to my amusement on my next character. Apparently I was stored and he became a Templar after a Red-Robe sponsored him.

Others say he faked his death and to this day wages a one-man war against the gith of the canyon, Leman-Russ style. Who can say? I'm not sharing the truth.

*Disclaimer: may not be the truth.

I once played a Tor officer that went with groups of people into alleys for spice-whore blowjobs. He paid for these frequent trips with sid he would steal from people much like a bully would take milk money.
Quote from: Fathi on March 08, 2018, 06:40:45 PMAnd then I sat there going "really? that was it? that's so stupid."

I still think the best closure you get in Armageddon is just moving on to the next character.

My Byn Sargeant saved Zoan's life, even though he hated his guts.  Breeds.  ::)
"A man's past is not simply a dead history... it is a still quivering part of himself, bringing shudders and bitter flavours and the tinglings of a merited shame."
-George Eliot

My thread is still going.

And apparently, I once, as an elf chased a human around the bard's barrel wielding a finger full of snot!
Varak:You tell the mangy, pointy-eared gortok, in sirihish: "What, girl? You say the sorceror-king has fallen down the well?"
Ghardoan:A pitiful voice rises from the well below, "I've fallen and I can't get up..."

The secret to great RP is having the balls to be weird and the brains to make it eloquent.

I once had a character who:

Purchased a tent.
Set it up in the Gan Zien marketplace in the 'rinth
Sat in it with a spice-run mat open from 10 p.m. EST to 12 a.m. EST

Proceeded to call it Loudmouth's Gambling Hall

Was a member of CLAN A and CLAN B at the same time, in the 'rinth!

Had many adventures.

Sat in the tent for about 3 real-life months, and let people gambling with me.

Tried to get it implemented as a perm tent and was told that there would be no new building in the game.

Le sigh

Bastard!  This is right when I joined the clan and needed him!

I liked that character greatly. Ended up robbing the entire world, just to collect special, rare, awesome gearz for for the Gambling event Loudmouth was trying to set up. Died too early to see it get done. Dont know if it panned out. I guess my brag would be ... resurrecting the Guild after Gin and keeping it going for atleast a pretty long while, even after my death. More or less mundane focused too.

Played a non-rinthi Nakki that eventually led a successful rinth gang and became a Guild leader.  When I returned to the rinth with a different character a RL year later after his silly death, westsiders were still wearing the same gang colors and wear location that my PC had chosen.

If it's any consolation, it's Loudmouth's loud mouth that got him killed.

You really shouldn't sit at certain bars bragging about all the stuff in your pack, 'cause y'know...someone might decide to take a closer look.

My beautiful Dwarf was betrayed by Loudmouth. I guess it's my own fault for gambling on the roof-tops. I will say that as a player I had a decent idea something was coming due to someone 'saying' something that was meant to be 'wayed'. I was a good sport though and ran with it and ate the backstab like a champ. Though, a part of me hopes you suffered a similar fate. Hah.
