I've used = (sdesc's/yours) in an emote. So pro.

I've used all four in one emote. ~ ^ + and #.
The man asks you:
"'Bout damn time, lol.  She didn't bang you up too bad, did she?"
The man says, ooc:
"OG did i jsut do that?"

I love the players of this game.
That's not a random thought either.

My average emote typically uses ~ ! and ^, though I've gotten up to four different symbols at times. During mudsex.  :-\

I was excited because while I've come up with theoretical examples of how to use + and =, I've never actually fluidly constructed an emote mid-play using one of them until recently.

Though to my shame, I had to >help emotes to make sure I was using the right symbol. :(

My usual emotes use one or a combination of ~,!,# and %. I almost never use ^, though I've gotten the impression that it's a popular one.

I've found myself using & more and more lately.

Do you just use &me to replace himself/herself, or do you use it on other people? I supposedit could be useful for some overly dramatic emoting.

>:dashes past the soldiers, ramming his spear into ~tektolnes &tektolnes!
>backstab tektolnes

Other people, usually.

I'll be here all day.

And yes, it's highly unlikely that normal people would need all the emote symbols in public.

i emote sometimes

I hope this was commentary on all the pretentious posts in this thread.

I guess it is now.

But truthfully, sometimes I emote and sometimes I don't. All depends on how much icing I want on my cake.

Most common mudsex emote there is.

I didnt even know = + existed. Or forgot about them. Go figure.

I can't think of an emote where something would need to be as 'yours' and not 'your'.

The tall, muscular man eases down against the wall beside you, pulling his legs up so they don't brush against yours.

Basically it's a way of not being redundant.

So instead of saying "Drags her lips across your lips" you can just say "Across yours"!

Gosh they don't have to be sexual. What about:

The tall muscular man circles you warily, bringing up his massive obsidian blade and smashing it against yours.

..never mind.

The short, black-helmeted man circles you warily, bringing up his Shwartz but careful not to tangle it with yours.
And I vanish into the dark
And rise above my station

The green-eyed man snickers at the tressy-tressed woman when she arrives from the ledge above, and offers his hand.

Casting a wary glance at him, the tressy-tressed woman finally trusts her hand in the green-eyed man's, and allows him to pull her up from the floor of the cavern.

This is one of my account notes.

'RPs horror well, enjoyable to terrorize'

:'(

I use % way too much. I find myself configuring sentences/emotes so that I don't have to use anything but that or ~. Im not lazy, just set in a bad habit.

That would explain why I don't use it very much.

BTW, I thought you were talking about & at first, and thought your mudsexxing PCs were very lonely and desperate.

I suppose it was only a matter of time until the bragging thread devolved into mudsex.

Yeah, it just took 41 pages and over six years.
