I remember...

Started by Anonymous, November 20, 2003, 12:47:19 PM

Here's a list of people I remember playing with over the last 3 years or so.  Hopefully you'll be tickled to know at least someone remembers your PC.

Quick note: I don't know the fate of any of these people, alive or dead, and am not implying that they are alive or dead.  I also got this post approved.  I also am leaving out some of my more recent acquaintances since I like keeping my PCs private.

the dainty, milky-skinned woman
Taliandra
the taut, piercing-green eyed woman
the statuesque, barrel-chested man
Agrestes
Iakovitzes
Kojiro Fale
Kojiro's wife (whose name or sdesc sadly escapes me, but oh man my first noble hated her)
Therian Fale
Celyndria
Ysania (about a billion times)
Ysania's husband (something Torque...it began with an R)
Torch
Kavindra Nenyuk
Jenna Oash
the plump, rosy-cheeked woman
All the Spirit Tracker elves
Sandman (As friend and foe)
Dgal the mul
Sargax
The brawny, something, something Lord Commander of Borsail
Brace of Borsail
Shade

And a billion more.  I did my best to remember those I could.

I made the list!!!!
I made the list!
Varak:You tell the mangy, pointy-eared gortok, in sirihish: "What, girl? You say the sorceror-king has fallen down the well?"
Ghardoan:A pitiful voice rises from the well below, "I've fallen and I can't get up..."

Let's see, who do I remember that I really appreciated.  Here we go.  Note, we can be fairly certain they are all dead or retired by now.  ;)

Gentle - a wonderful whiran
Ash - a mul bodyguard to a Krathi
Verse - that said Krathi
Ra - the ever more powerful krathi
Arendor - a certain southerner
Rals - the green skinned wonder
Alkyone - no need to remind who this was ;)
Farak
Aryk
the half-giant leader of the Fire Knives
Branch - a certain metal-clad ranger (even had steel bastard swords)
Ana of Kohmar
Thrain and his pirate accent (nose thumber!)
All of Thrain's fellow dwarves with their pirate accents
Linedel - a certain wandering "bard" perhaps the true original
(take that Klyrr)
I think there was a certain human named mantis named Goliath - I always laughed at that one

OH OH! MY TURN!

Zak, Byn Sarge
Steveth, another Byn Sarge
Rayne,  Byn Sarge
Kerr, Byn Sarge
Amos, the Kadian merchent(AMOS! IF YOU'RE READING THIS EMAIL ME!)
Kojiro(I LOVE YOU KOJIRO!)
Kaviandra, Nenyuki
Ceridwin, Oash bard, then I believe he moved to Tor
the blue-mowhawked man(Telek)
Fatty Tor, who let me try and hold his sword.
Sardiss, Borsail Wyvern
Iahsan, the evil templar of doom! Who I thought was going to order me to sleep with him once.
This HG that was in the Byn. I don't remember his name, but I had lots of fun with him.

There's still a few people alive that would remember some of the ones from last year, though the chars themselves are dead, so I won't mention them. :-)

-Tortall, who misses every single one of those people.
The man asks you:
"'Bout damn time, lol.  She didn't bang you up too bad, did she?"
The man says, ooc:
"OG did i jsut do that?"

I love the players of this game.
That's not a random thought either.

Quote from: "Hidden to protect ;)"
Ra - the ever more powerful krathi

I knew this person IRL!  Dammit, haven't talked to said person in YEARS...if you're there, goddamit send me a PM or something.
quote="mansa"]emote pees in your bum[/quote]

Mordaga will kill all your chars mauahahah..
So will Thalun,
let us not forget:
Malka (think I got it right)
Mianonn
Kaerin
(Notice a pattern yet, aside from most of you probably having no idea who these people are?)

While off topic, I'd like to point out that the name Ash is as if not more popular than Amos. I haven't seen Amos ... well, ever (I had a char named Amolas though), but Ash on the other hand is a dime a dozen.

Boo, down with capitalism.
musashi: It's also been argued that jesus was a fictional storybook character.

Imms, feel free to delete if i'm not allowed to post this. If anyone wants to get in touch with the player of Amos the Kadian merchant, email x
lt;female pc> Uhh, aren't those women's leggings?
<my pc> Who says these skin tight black silk leggings are for women?
<female pc> I have the exact same pair.

the taut, piercing-green eyed woman was Deihenia or 'Danseur' and attempted to start a music and acting house in Allanak along with Kialyra and Ceridwen.

Riandra was around during this time, and was an intensely role played character.

ShaLeah was a big newb, but we loved her.

I'd forgotten Linedel, I actually think I may have heard of him or met him, way back. Klyrr was widely travelled too though.

Hey that was me back in 2003 that made this thread.  Wasn't I a cute little bugger?

I got it approved too.

Ysania's husband was Eldor.

I was there when he got poisoned by a halfling and was at death's door, but got saved when the MUD crashed and apparently reset his status back to normal, heh.

But, the entire Kadian crew back then was awesome:

Ysania
Berlian
Boad
Cringe
Lius
Eldor
Amos

As current Kadian imm, I should point out that in my short 2 years with the clan, there have been at least 3 'Amos the Kadian's. :)
Nyr: newbs killing newbs
Nyr: hot newb on newb violence
Ath: Mmmmmm, HOT!

oh my... there must have been a trend started after the crazy, eccentric, colorful haired freak. ;) it was more than 2 years ago I believe. Kari was an imm at the time.

You know I think if James simply retitled his thread "Cheese" and apologized for his first post being off-topic, all problems would be solved.

Sujaal
Templar Shome
Akasha

Put any of those characters together with the word RPT, and you had yourself one damn fun night.

Sargax

Surak
Kiya
Amos (BUT I'M NOT TELLING WHICH ONE AHAHAHAHAHAHA)

There are others even nearer and dearer, but they're too recent to list here.

Here's a shout out to my favorite time traveller, the tall, muscular man. If you knew the secrets behind this many-aliased, subtle but important figure in Zalanthan History, you'd give shouts too. I believe he travels backward through Armageddon player history, so in the beginnings he was quite experienced, but as we go forward, he becomes stranger and stranger to us.

But that's just one theory.

Someone spelt mine wrong. GRRRR!

As for me, I still remember all you mantis eating Bynners from about two years back. T'was a larf.

I was there with:

Kilashi
Taena

and the rest above.  Every sunday we would hop into the Kadian wagon and drive south and north.  I drove that wagon.

Jothan
Gerrol

A wide and varied cast of Conclavers

In the future, I'm going to twit people for this (that means banning you from the GDB).  Why?  You don't post something then say "If I shouldn't post this, just delete it".  Instead, you ask permission first.  Definitely do not post someone's email address without their permission.

I've had to edit more than one post, because people can't seem to grasp the point about not posting sensitive IC information.  Let's just not do these kinds of threads at all anymore.  Sorry for those who didn't post sensitive IC information, but people like Yang and TommyBoy are ruining it for you all.
