1. Kyr - Stored - Borsail recruit who made it to Sergeant, lived about 60 days played as an assassin in an at the time full unit of Amber Wyverns. Stored over something I said OOC to a player.

2. Drokh - Died to a Raptor - Indy ranger around Tuluk, really boring to play and kind of why I never play 'full' rangers any more.

3. Tembrik - Died to a Well - Rinther dwarf, gave me a reason to not like the rinth. But to be fair, dwarves are kinda out of place there in the raw political sense.

4. Emokir - Died to a Whiran (?) - Semi Tuluki Ranger who made his living as a courier. Notable waylaid by a rukkian for a frypan and delivered some troll letters for Ceylara Borsail to Tuluk.

5. Coaxoch - Stored - Tribal warrior who walked to Allanak from Tuluk over the course of a while, joined Kadius out of desperation, ended up running the southern crew.

6. Buhz - Stored - Last long lived slave PC before they lowered the boom on that stuff. Served Ceylara Borsail, most notably saved her from a Roc (thanks Veddi). Long lived, boring personality.

7. Greffokh - Stored - Tuluki Legionaire, did a bunch of stuff for a few Jihaens, defied orders to save some little kid templar from a kryl, stored over in clan politics I didn't care for.

8. Otiartes - Templared - Spider disaster survivor, used to slack off in the tavern. Ended up being accused of being a mindworm and executed by his Corporal. Wasn't a mindworm.

9. Khax - Stored - Had a cooler full name but hell if I remember it, loyal servant of Raleris Winrothol. Used to train with city elves a lot, not as smart as people thought he was.

10. Rihat - Dasari-ed - Some fuckwit stableboy who hired on with Salarr and ended up running the show (from the practical side). Sold out by someone, the usual politics.

SPONSORED STORED PC - It was pretty challenging one character in (because Edmundo lasted a week!) to play a sponsored role. Played him two months then stored. I regret it though! The concept was sick.
STORED PC - Hiatus PC that I logged in every now and then to try and get back into Arm.
STORED PC - Hiatus touched PC that I used to quickly try the magic system.
DEAD PC - Came back to Arm and it was great!

I kind of love this thread!

  1) Reneli - Stored. 2004-2005, 91 days. Borsail aide, trolloped around the city, hung out with some awesome Amber Wyverns. Eventually became Veralius Borsail's concubine (where are you, EvilRoeSlade?) The storage is really more of an IC death; she was caught up in intrigue when her Lord tried to assassinate a Senior, and was sent to the slave pens to be a mul mommy as his punishment.

  2) Isaya - Dead. 2005, 5 days. Kuraci soldier who only lived for a hot second, but I got to serve with Shatuka!

  3) Kelynna - Dead. 2005, 40 some days. Her cover was being a stonecrafter, in reality she was House Tenneshi's terrorist and burglar extraordinaire. Flash powder existed back then and she had some fun with it. Died trying to blow up the windmills in Red Storm to harm grain production and cause famine in the south.

  4) Flower - Dead. 2005-2006, 10 days. Rinthi breed vivaduan gemmer. She had a little whirlwind of a life and saw some shit in her brief time, even had hands on a magickal artifact for a day or so! Died because House Oash didn't like her and thought she was spying on them (she wasn't, but she was a breed, and that was good enough for the templar.)

  5) Ceylara Ellandris Borsail - Stored. 2006 - 2007, 120ish days. Got promoted to Senior Lady (these days I gather it would have just been a titled junior, rather than a Senior). Was promostored to Senator when Borsail was closing due to the whole Armageddon 2 thing. I could write a whole post on her but I'll stop. Definitely features in logs and forum posts and books and things.

  6) Euclys Samos Rennik - Stored. 2007-2008, 120ish more days. Samos the Red. I think he has about ten times the number of player kills as the rest of my roster combined. All he needed was a cape and a blue jumpsuit and he would have been Superman. He might even still be alive, who knows?

Started in2012.

1.  Aonghus (Aon), Tuluki ranger, the hunter, 119 days played.  Started a hunting company that served merchant families and crafters of all kinds.  He had lots of adventures.  Died when out with a templar taming oxen for him and a bahamet attacked when he had just tamed two oxen.  He and the templar got away, but the npc guard was left behind, so when the templar went back, Aon went back too, just as the guard fell, and the bahamet and two treacherous oxen turned on him.
2. Athan, a Nakki Salarri hunter that died after just 4 days played.  I was offered a sponsored role so I decided to explore until he died.  Turned in all my Salarri stuff and spent all my money on arrows and headed out...and immediately fell off the shield wall north of the city.  He survived, but his beetle was still unconscious so he wandered around a bit nearby, got chased all around by a dujat, survived that, beetle was still asleep so he decided to see what was in that busted up wagon...
3.  Niall, sponsored Byn Sergeant.  39 days played.  Death by unending staff spider onslaught.  I enjoyed the in-game part of the role immensely.
4.  Ryhd - Tuluki Assassin/outdoorsman, wanted to be a witch hunter.  He was captured and killed while scouting the incoming Nakki army before the HRTP.  30 days played.
5.  Torrian (Tori) - stump warrior.  I wanted to make a PC that could be part of the upcoming HRTP war between Nak and Tuluk but it was only 2 weeks away, so I made a dwarf and got him in the Legion.  The whole Byn attacked him first thing and got him down to 6 hp instantly so I still didn't get to do much, lol.  I stumbled around lost, afraid I'd fall off my inix and kill him but some hunter found him and showed him the way to the fort.  Tori was executed at 46 days and I'm still angry about that one.

1. Kranisan(a long, long time ago) - Dead. Died in the Bard's Barrel begging for food, starved to death. Welcome to Arm n00b.
2. Manji - Dead Bynner. Character that got me addicted to Arm, and introduction to the glories of Spider Nest missions while not having set up a prompt.
3. Kuroi - Dead Sergeant of the AoD. Complete asshole. Ended up in the pit, very well deserved.
4. Sadie - Dead First Tuluki.
5. Kasyh (2005)- Stored First Vivaduan.
6. Ralek (2006)- Stored First Rinther.
7. Uruma (2006)- Dead First Tuluki soldier and (albeit) brief introduction to the plainsman.
8. Shiran (2007)- Dead First Templar. Utter sadistic psychopath. Had a thing for torture. Helped the CAM along until even they had enough of his shit and betrayed him, survived, had the majority of them killed. Was a walking drama bomb when drama was being traded like spice amongst the nobility at that time. Was appropriately killed at the most inconvenient time imaginable as a player. Loved every second.
9. Khaliryn (2007)- Dead Preserver. Not going into detail with this one.

11. Anthinius (2008) - Stored That's Imperial Lord Oash to you. Was around during the 'end times', and probably had a higher casualty count than Shiran towards the end. He was my favorite, and could make a post about him, but got a lot of things done and seen some of the craziest stuff I've ever seen in my time playing. MIDGE, MALLOR, SAMOS, EDOM, and some many others, too many to mention, I loved / hated you all. Retired due to being promoted beyond playability.
12. Nakirn (2009) - Dead. Tuluki. My very last character killed by another player. Don't get gypsies pregnant, fellas.
13. Kanturo (2010) - Stored Byn Sergeant. Him and Berk (think that was the name) were like the good / evil of the Byn at the time.

  2) Leyana - Stored - This was a Kuraci recruit usually called Growl. She taught me that I hate sparring clans.
  3) Belyn - Stored - A dumb and floofy guy that was a Bynner. Apparently I hadn't properly learned my lesson about hating sparring clans.
  4) Jaylen - Stored - Some family role call sekkrit breed. His sister ended up getting gemmed. He was a cross-dresser who loved purple and joined Kadius. I just stopped feeling it after a while and couldn't bring myself to log in anymore, so I stored.
  5) Jenedes - Stored - Some random AoD recruit. Not only did I forget I hated sparring clans, I had to take a long break and when I came back I couldn't get into her anymore.
  6) Breck - Dead - My first, totally unsuccessful crack at a magicker (viv). I died to some tarantula trying to make it south to Allanak.
  7) Sereth - Stored - My second, slightly more successful but still not all-that-successful crack at a Vivaduan. Some goofy gemmed loser who fancied himself an artist. I don't know.
  8 ) Akhet - Dead - My third, shameful attempt at a magicker. Rukkian HG. I tried to make him dumb but uncannily mystical, but he just ended up seeming way smarter than he should have been. If I ever do HG again, I am going to learn from my mistakes.
  9) Aralu - Dead - Some random Sun Runner.
  10) Aphra - Dead - Boy, I sure do like those magickers, I guess. This was a chronically depressed, sex-hating Vivaduan prostitute who eventually got gemmed and killed by Borsail and the templarate.
  11) Kalila - Stored - Some dumb AoD recruit whose shameful secret was that her VNPC mother was a defiler. I liked the concept, but I...once again forgot that I hate sparring clans.
  12) Karan - Dead - A spec app Elkrosian that died to a jozhal. I'm not proud.
  13) Lucithyrion - Dead - This was a truly embarrassing character. A noble that was outmatched and outplayed by pretty much everyone else around him. I was trying to make him decadent and sex-addicted and get him into trouble with his habits, but I think I just gave the impression that I the player was creepily obsessed with mudsex, a reputation I sometimes wondered if I'd ever be able to shake. He had some good moments, but overall I am not proud of him. Eventually I was so fed up that I asked staff if I could kill him off with an STD, which they helped me do, although actually he committed suicide to save himself from further suffering.
  14) Iaphet - Dead - A Krathi that was basically Milton from Office Space. Kept being mistaken for a Drovian because he wore all black (he liked the heat!) and had 'ethereal' in his sdesc (he was 3/8 elf!) Died to a mekillot. Oops!
  15) Ander - Stored - Pykapp (Friday)'s brother, but we didn't really get to play much together before she died. The rest of the family fell apart for reasons. I was also an idiot with the code and was constantly berated by my superiors for being a moron. And then I remembered OH YEAH I STILL HATE SPARRING CLANS.
  16) Seren - This was a brief Oash aide, a child of gemmers. I actually really enjoyed playing her, but I stored her to play in the advertised Tablelands plot.
  17) Hamim - Dead - This was my Seik character, my first tribal. I still miss him. I won't say how I died because the al'Seik may have their own theories about it. I feel like this is when I really grew as a player.
  18) Arikatya - Stored - Haha, this tribal was on an Amish-style Rumspringa and basically treated Allanak like her Spring Break. Her 'city name' was Onerus, because she heard someone say 'onerous' and liked the sound of it. I played her to comfort myself after Hamim, and was hoping she'd be killed gloriously. But no matter what an idiot she was, no one wanted to kill her for some reason. So I stored before she got too boring.
  19) Kid - Dead - This was my first try at a subguild magicker. She was an adorable breed who teleported to her doom. Oops!
  20) Azad - Stored - A gemmed merchant/corruption viv with the best stats ever. Of COURSE I'd get stats like that on a goddamn merchant.

  23) Quin - Stored - This character lasted like...a few hours before I stored to play #25. We don't talk about #24. Quin was a product of a woman's eugenics project, basically. Very pretty, and bred to be a beloved aide or concubine. His eyes were blank and he came across dumb as hell. But secretly, he wanted to be Conan the Barbarian! He ended up giving some guy a handjob for money while fantasizing in detail about his outlaw alter-ego's scimitar glinting in the sun as he pillaged his way across the Known with his trusty mul companion.

  25) Lorael - Dead - A mul's bondmate. With her I experienced some of my favorite scenes EVER in the game. Yes I know her name sounds like lipstick. She died to my own moronic typo-esque mistake and I will always regret it.
