Currently I'm playing a certain type of character and would like a partner in game to join me.  Now I'm not sure, but is this is the right place to request such a thing, and if yes, is it possible to do so with all the IC-OOC info thing?

Usually you request on the Announcement boards, there are a few other requests like the one you're talking about that you should read just for examples.

Yeah this kinda thing is fine to set up oocly but only to an extent. For one, probably the best place to post something like this is on the Announcements board. Secondly give a vague idea of what the char is about, to attract player who would like the role.

Eg. looking for an elf to be my brother, sneaky type of person.

Looking for a dwarf sorc to capture me and tie me up

Lastly dont say oocly anything you want to do with those chars.

Eg. Looking for 8 dwarves to help me kill lord fancy pants.

looking for a mul to assasinate bob (the curly-haired dOOd)
