On a lighter note...

Did anyone else notice that we broke 80 players online last night?  With no announced RPTs and on a weeknight!

Go Arm!   ;D

I know!  Wish I could have been around more then an hour... damn jobs interrupting my ARM time!

you did the biggest mistake of your life

82 was the high water mark I saw.

I was impressed.

I so wish that I could have been on. So wish. And also, W00T, rock on ARM!!!

No one on staff is just waiting for the opportunity to get revenge on someone who killed one of their characters years ago.

Except me. I remember every death. And I am coming for you bastards.

Sorry to burst your bubble, guys, but I was just having a big multi-account get-together for my PC's. Numbered about roughly 30. Whew. That was hard work, giving 1 PC the starting cash from 29 other newbie PC's...

My own mother.

A staff member confirmed to me that out of the 80 players online, I was the only mundane one!
"When I was a fighting man, the kettle-drums they beat;
The people scattered gold-dust before my horse's feet;
But now I am a great king, the people hound my track
With poison in my wine-cup, and daggers at my back."

Yeah. Forgot to mention that all of my PC's were magickers.

Who flew around and melted people's faces off. Just to ruin good story plots.

Let's see..30 pcs out of 80, total...out of 80, 1 was mundane...Gunner?  Afraid to tell you this, buddy, but you probably killed off most of your alts, during that face melting spree..with newbie 'gicker spells, at the weakest level..

I've come to the conclusion that relaxing is not the lack of doing anything, but doing something that comes easily to you.

DAMMIT! I knew something was odd about all those PC's just standing around...

At first I was thinking...

"There is no way, I was online too, and I am mundane."

I went to check my skills just now and sure enough...Two spells are in my skill list now. Apparently Ginka isnt capable of supporting more than one mundane PC at a time, so the IMM's gave me spells to keep the game from crashing.

*sigh*

The young daughter has been filled.

See what happens when we break the #10 spot in Top MUD sites? Keep voting, duh.
Quote from: Fathi on March 08, 2018, 06:40:45 PMAnd then I sat there going "really? that was it? that's so stupid."

I still think the best closure you get in Armageddon is just moving on to the next character.

I am very sneaky, I vote twice a day, once from work, once from home.

N00b!

One of those sites allows voting every 12 hours.  You should be voting four times a day.
The sword is sharp, the spear is long,
The arrow swift, the Gate is strong.
The heart is bold that looks on gold;
The dwarves no more shall suffer wrong.

*Sigh*

But I'm typically not at work 12 hours. I might could manage three times a day now that you mention it though.

Once when I wake up at home, once at work, and then once again when I get home...I never thought of that "Early Morning Vote".

Hrrrm...I will ponder this.

Go to every public wifi space you know of! Vote from dozens of IPs!  ;D Enlist your neighbors in the cause, whether they know it or not!

Never mind. Too late now.
Varak:You tell the mangy, pointy-eared gortok, in sirihish: "What, girl? You say the sorceror-king has fallen down the well?"
Ghardoan:A pitiful voice rises from the well below, "I've fallen and I can't get up..."

I was online last night.

You win Armageddon, congratulations!  Type 'credits', then store your character and make a new one

I was happy to see 4 people on when I logged in :)

Didn't -see- any of them in person unfortunately.

Now go addict those newbies.
I tripped and Fale down my stairs. Drink milk and you'll grow Uaptal. I know this guy from the state of Tenneshi. This house will go up Borsail tomorrow. I gave my book to him Nenyuk it back again. I hired this guy golfing to Kadius around for a while.
