What # character are you on?

Started by FantasyWriter, July 04, 2008, 06:15:17 AM

In July, it was 6 characters. Four more, with three of them stored. My starting date is April 22, 2006 according to my first approval letter from Arm :)

So 10 characters in just around 3 years, including a few that I stored within a week of starting them.

I started playing in 96, but I've taken several breaks spanning a couple of years. Just started with character 32.
Mansa to Me: "You are a cancer to ArmageddonMUD."

Starting playing about 13 years ago, though actually playing time is more like 7 years.   On this account (which I think is my third and longest played)  47 characters.

This character I am apping at the moment is number 43.
"Don't take life too seriously, nobody ever makes it out alive anyway."

Ha, I'm on #12, most have lived very short lives, but 3 have made such an impact on the other characters around them that the have made efforts to recover the body, not to strip them but to give them a funeral..I love the role play aspect so much, it give you a chance to create an investment of emotion not only for you self, but for those that play with you. I love Arm.
The funny little foreign man

I often hear the jingle to -Riunite on ice- when I read the estate name Reynolte, eve though there ain't no ice in Zalanthas.

42 since 2000.  17 of which were stored.  Of my last four, which span from November 2006, two of those were stored also.  One of them only had 1 month.

damn... Im on my 80th? I make risk takers and when I first started out about three-four years ago... Stored alot maybe around seven...
Quote from: Cutthroat on August 22, 2009, 10:57:13 PMSo Eunoli Winrothol, Samos Rennik, and Thrain Ironsword walk into a bar. The Red Fang bartender looks up and says, "Get the fuck out of my bar."

5 over a few years, though I have probably only played about 50hrs max.  Not used to dying, anyway.

Was wondering the same thing. After 2 days too.. lol, should've just had it killed. Also, 9 karma in 15 characters is pretty damn cool.

Clans can give stat bonuses and penalties, too. The Byn drop in wisdom is particularly notorious.

Could have been a special app.

I've come to the conclusion that relaxing is not the lack of doing anything, but doing something that comes easily to you.

Was a spec app, aye.  Stored because I really really could not identify with the character type as I thought I would. And as a result took what would be the funnest character I've had so far, so glad I did :)

I'm on 67 now. I have probably the best noob death stories ever. Live hard, die hard, baby.

I still think the best closure you get in Armageddon is just moving on to the next character.

You clearly haven't mastered the art of wandering around in dangerous places and dying to dangerous things!
The sword is sharp, the spear is long,
The arrow swift, the Gate is strong.
The heart is bold that looks on gold;
The dwarves no more shall suffer wrong.

I am doing a little bit of threadful necromancy, because I want to brag a bit.

I am on my third character.
Those buggers just refuse to die.

Take it to the long liver thread.

Haha, strangely, I do find it hard to die. I actually tried 'suiciding' two characters because I just dreaded logging on to both, but in a realistic manner. Ended up storing one and the other managed to piss off like 20 people (and flee), survived a lot of exploration, got almost all food and water stolen but managed to find more, and after 3 days of stupid behavior, at least 5 times getting thrown in jail, he was mysteriously assassinated. How the hell do you guys lose so many chars?

Since I started back in the 90's or so stopped playing for ten years and came back, so maybe like 5-6 years play time or so total, i find it VERY hard to die
-IF- I don't want to die.
