New Log Up

My spidersenses are tingling.
I heard mudseks?
Modern concepts of fair trials and justice are simply nonexistent in Zalanthas. If you are accused, you are guilty until someone important decides you might be useful. It doesn't really matter if you did it or not.

Oy, NINE new logs!

Too many to take in all at once, but worth the time from what I've read so far.

There's also two of my own logs up, so I may be a bit biased. ;)
As of February 2017, I no longer play Armageddon.

My first one, too.  Yes, I'm way too excited about this.
The sword is sharp, the spear is long,
The arrow swift, the Gate is strong.
The heart is bold that looks on gold;
The dwarves no more shall suffer wrong.

Because it's a frickin' awesome one.  Good choice.   ;)

Did the submission form format editor-thingy make you two want to bash your heads in?  I spent waaaaaay too much time reformatting my already formatted logs.  Did you find anything that worked for you?

Rairen, what would we do without you?

Fucking awesome new logs, you guys. Just wonderful to read.  :)

No one on staff is just waiting for the opportunity to get revenge on someone who killed one of their characters years ago.

Except me. I remember every death. And I am coming for you bastards.

I edited it in Windows Notepad, then spent way too much time in GMail fighting with the random carriage returns that Notepad had inserted.  :-[

Next time I'll probably use gvim, since it will wrap lines on-screen without actually inserting any characters.  But that's not a terribly user-friendly program; it's just that I already know how to use it.

YES!!! I'm -so- glad you submitted that Brytta.

Been wanting to reread over that ever since it happened.

Awesome.

Tek told me to post this, he says it has been over 1 year since it happened.

With appropriate roleplay of course.

..What?  All that, and he cut off the thriller dance?

Lame.

I've come to the conclusion that relaxing is not the lack of doing anything, but doing something that comes easily to you.

*is curious why he didn't include a hawt mudsexxor scene*

Tek?  Call me.   :-*

Eh... when did the Imms grant Krath his special app to play Tek?   ???

Hah! That supports the ancient hatred of permadeath because some noob on a permadeath game will get too powerful and able to kill off any other player in the game. I tried to find a link to that article, but can't find it.

BTW, Pale Horse, I'm pretty sure you could guess how spammy a thriller dance would be. Many zombies repeating the same emote ;) Tek did the right thing by leaving it out.

Clans can give stat bonuses and penalties, too. The Byn drop in wisdom is particularly notorious.

An amazing load of new things.

Stories: 1 new
Songs:  4 new
Art:      1 new
Logs:    4 new

I contributed one log, and hope to send in another with the "ending" to that when I can find it. If you were wondering why the issue about gemmed RP came up, and discussion about IC boards containing too much exact info, etc, as in this thread, then this explains that. There's a few more posts reguarding that as well. If you were ever curious what the events were that led up to the murder of the last keeper of the Vividuian pool, and a new NPC to replace them, this is it.

By far one of my favorite characters.

'Zan, get me a jeweled dagger.'
'Like a bejeweled dagger?'
'Yeah'

Zan was a great story.

You win Armageddon, congratulations!  Type 'credits', then store your character and make a new one

Zan was a great story.

I remember Zan.

And I remember Miranda, that whore. I'm sure Mansa does too.

I remember the stories of Zan and Ruti.

OH man, I really want the rest of this story. Especially because I only got to witness it from an outsiders perspective, and I loved all your guys' characters so much.

Is Ruti's player still around, I can't seem to remember his forum account. Was a great roleplayer.

A fun player, but I don't think he decided to stick around.

I liked that log about Ruti and Jen as well.  I wonder how it turned out later

for the record, the 'new' NPC was actually an old npc with a neat history that unfortunately has NO talk responses. :(
