Hand shakes, fear,  sweat, laughter, a tear or two, and bug-eyed stare at some freaking awesome scenes and role-play about sum up my Arm experience.

...and anger..lots of anger...mostly at NPCs.....

....mobs are eeeevlll.......

I've come to the conclusion that relaxing is not the lack of doing anything, but doing something that comes easily to you.

I'm a girl, thus I cry when I PK. I wish you wouldn't make me PK you, you heartless bastard.

I'm gonna go all Gimfalisette on you guys and lay down some numbers.

GENDER STEREOTYPING!!!

GUYS CAN CRY TOO.

WE DON'T EXIST JUST TO SCREAM AND KILL SHIT, YOU KNOW.
Quote from: H. L.  MenckenEvery normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats.

Yeah, my character makes me cry all the time.

I get shaky hands too, and occasionally I will shriek really loudly.  But only occasionally.
Child, child, if you come to this doomed house, what is to save you?

A voice whispers, "Read the tales upon the walls."

I bet Ghost cries when he PKs too.

I don't really get the shakes too bad, but my heart does start a-poundin' when I'm getting into some shit.

I'm a guy and I've only pk'd once (outside of wartime.)

I didn't cry, though. I high-fived my roommate.

The tense moments of this game make me pace.  You might be curious how I manage to play and pace at the same time... well so am I  :-*

I also get various shakes, have been known to yell and/or cackle maniacally at my computer, and sometimes throw things across the room.  I will not admit to crying, but there have been instances of burning eyes during particularly poignant scenes.

It's a good thing I live alone.
"Last night a moth came to my bed
and filled my tired weary head
with horrid tales of you, I can't believe it's true.
But then the lampshade smiled at me -
It said believe, it said believe.
I want you to know it's nothing personal."

The Chosen

I find myself doing things in real life (such as nodding, talking and waving, etc). It takes me a bit to realize I didn't type it into the game but actually did it.  :-[

LOL!

Good to see I'm not the only one.... Though before I say something, I'll think in the back of my mind the syntax for speech on Armageddon....

Me too!  I react in-character...and then I type these things in as emotes.  That's where a lot of my emoting comes from.

Sometimes my gf looks at me like I'm -totally- insane when I do this...

Then again, it could be the character...
Quote from: Wish

Don't think you're having all the fun...
You know me, I hate everyone!

Wish there was something real!
Wish there was something true!
Wish there was something real,
in this world full of YOU!

I've caught myself saying 'krath' in real life.

I drum my fingers on my laptop's casing in tense situations. I have different rhythms for different activities.

Years of playing high-risk combat situations cured my shakes, but I still get adrenaline rushes.

There is also nothing quite like the delicious anticipation of one's first time...

... murdering another PC in cold blood, that is.

Or hot blood, really. Does the temperature of the blood really make it any less awesome?
And I vanish into the dark
And rise above my station

Only a matter of tastes, baby.

I don't get the shakes anymore but the heart sure will beat..And I love it! Also in real life I try and class people like oh they are warrior type and so on. And I like to think of cops as templars
craft pain pills  Dr pepper
You make a idled character

Alright I be honest-I get hand shakes as well during some intense scenes.

As that friend you speak of, AmandaGreathouse I thank you for getting me addicted to the point where I need a fix every half-hour or so - just so you know.
I don't have to outrun the Gortok, you see. I just have to outrun you.

In my experience, long stints in the Byn and other military organizations is the 12-step program to cure combat shakes.

Though I suppose cold-blooded murderers had to get cold-blooded somehow.   :o

Yeah, I've PK'ed and been PK'ed so many times that it's almost a matter of course, now.

I'm noting everyone who says they no longer shake, and am going to personally make them stain their pants within the next several days.

Welcome to Armageddon!

I no longer shake.  ;D  ;D  ;D
