I miss you.

01/13/2008: Changed Caravan Road echoes to remove kank references -- Sanvean

    1575 (Year 35 Age 21)
    ...
    In the same year, a mysterious malady begins to sweep throughout the known world, causing the kank - Zalanthans' primary method of transporation - to slowly sicken and die. Trade routes suffer as the centers of civilization struggle to obtain a new means of healthy, cheap beasts of burden to replace the dying animals. Kank honey, an ingredient in many popular foodstuffs for the upper class, becomes virtually nonexistent. Many factions across the known world devote countless hours of time and effort to discovering and halting the unknown illness, to no effect. Over time, the kank becomes all but extinct.

You win Armageddon, congratulations!  Type 'credits', then store your character and make a new one

Kanks for the memories.

It's still there.

Oh, nevermind.

The sword is sharp, the spear is long,
The arrow swift, the Gate is strong.
The heart is bold that looks on gold;
The dwarves no more shall suffer wrong.

Someone needs to make a Templar who always mentions 35/21 every two sentences or so, to prove his point.
"When I was a fighting man, the kettle-drums they beat;
The people scattered gold-dust before my horse's feet;
But now I am a great king, the people hound my track
With poison in my wine-cup, and daggers at my back."

If I knew that was coming, I would've squeezed every last honey out of all of them for exponential profit! Muwahaha!

So.. these 3 kank tickets I have had for over a year are... valueless....

Arm is evil.  And I love it.  It's like the softest, cuddliest, happy smelling teddy bear in the world, except it is stuffed with meth needles that inject you everytime

Well, if there are kanks to go with them, than they are Priceless. A small difference, I would say,

The next character I create will be a dwarven physician with the focus of curing the kank plague! ;D

Hah, you'll never have to change your focus. :P

Cue the annoying Newbie, chanting his endless refrain, "What about the newsfile?"

Of course, 'Help Kank' has a deeper meaning, knowing they're all but extinct ...

That's like saying that when you're older, you want to save the dinosaurs.

You mean I can't do that?

Oh how many dreams have been shattered by that singular post....

I don't miss the kanks.  They're gross.
A foreign presence contacts your mind.

Shield-wall oysters, I salute you.

I <3 Kanks.

I remember I was playing this ranger and her only real friend was her kank.  I worked as a guard for a Kadian wagon once and I was always talking to my kank about the fluffy wall dwellers and ready to bail out on the wagon at the first sign of danger.  I was way overly protective and talkative to this kank.  Can't even remember it's name now.  I was resting in the woods after killing a goudra or something and a tembo came up and started attacking my kank.  I tried to rescue it to no avail and my character was in utter despair.  Kudos to the IMMs, that was hilarious.  Now that I think about it... I could have just assisted my kank... but I was still a bit newbish at the time.

kinky
some of my posts are serious stuff

I didn't learn this till reacently OOC, but I'd figure my character would know it IC.  But I saw a Kank early on in game when I first started playing...  it was sick, was really annoying... Almost bashed it's head in to get it ot shut up.  >.>

Kanks are one of those things - like the brutal sun, sandstorms and endless roads that lead nowhere.  It is very Armageddon.

I miss them.  Their absence alone is a sign of the coming apocalypse.

...and one day, the kanks shall sicken,
Yes, they shall surely be stumbling and blind.
Their kank-honey shall thicken.
Know then, the end of times is nigh.

(From an ancient Allanaki bard-song)

I was with Kul on that trip.
