History

Any possibility you could implement a personal "history" of sorts? Something like a scrollback of the last 5/10 things sent to your client.

This way, instead of...

Some Tavern in A Big City
Everyone's here having a ball. Most of the PCs are idling. Have
fun idling with them. Maybe someone will emote. It'll be interesting.
A black-haired guy is here.
A blue-haired girl is here.
A green-haired breed is here.
A hoovooloo-eyed male Templar is here.

A hoovooloo-eyed male Templar turns to you, eyeing you sharply.

%%%disconnected.

Reconnecting to your character...

A blue-haired girl says to you, in sirihish,
"Do it!"

>ooc uh... missed the last few seconds?

It could be...

>history
A hoovooloo-eyed male Templar turns to you, eyeing you sharply.
A hoovooloo-eyed male Templar tells you, in sirihish,
"Bow."
A green-haired breed fingers the hilt of her blade, sneering.
A hoovooloo-eyed male Templar gnashes his teeth impatiently, approaching you.

A blue-haired girl says to you, in sirihish,
"Do it!"

>emote bows quickly to ~templar.

Sometimes a client doesn't know you have been disconnected...

But it may be a good idea for a special armageddon client.

You win Armageddon, congratulations!  Type 'credits', then store your character and make a new one

It wouldn't be for the client, and wouldn't be for just when you were disconnected. It would be useable at any time to show you the last 5 things sent to your client from the server, whether disconnected or not.

This is an unspeakably beautiful idea.  As someone who runs into occasional connection hiccups, I would love this.  You should idea this in game if you haven't already.
