change ldesc

Once I've changed my Long Description to something, what's the best way to make it code generated again (so I don't have to change it every time I do something).

>alias ldreset change ldesc is standing here.

If you're already standing, just type 'stand'.

Thanks guys, that helps.

I highly suggest, 'stand', if you're already standing.  It's a pretty powerful command.  It resets any other thing you've done to yourself.

You win Armageddon, congratulations!  Type 'credits', then store your character and make a new one

whats the max string length to an ldesc? i find it too limiting
A foreign presence contacts your mind.

The max length of a ldesc actually depends on the length of your sdesc.

I'd think it would be a max of 80 characters.  By default, the game tries to keep everything to 80 characters in a string for telnet...

... and then you have some aspects of the game that ignores that, like the 'hooded' feature.

So, it depends on your sdesc length, but assume max 80 characters.

Interesting, I did not know you could stand while standing.

Only Mansa can. Why is still a mystery.

Actually, fighting will not reset your long description if you set it while standing.  Something to keep in mind.
