I've been seeing this often over the last few days, preventing me from checking the GDB when I want to.  Anyone know what it means or why it is picking on me?

I got that once, but I refreshed and it came up like normal, hasn't happened since.

Note that just because your sessions table is full it doesn't mean that someone has actively and maliciously trying to fill it. Chances are that it is just full because of all the users that visit your site, and that no-one has been trying to fill it up in an attempt to bring your site down. Sometimes it can just be a confused search engine spider, who doesn't like dynamic session ids, filling up the sessions table.

Call me suspicious, but it wouldn't suprise me if ultimiatly it came down to an intentional flooding of the sessions.

I corresponded with Brixius about this.  Apparently we don't control this table, and so when this happens we're left with having to submit a support ticket to our hosting provider.

It is weird, because when I do get through after one of these blocks, there's 8 or 9 people logged in to the GDB.  It seems odd that the sessions would be full but there really aren't many people on.  

Oh well, at least it isn't just me.

I was thinking the very same thing, perhaps the previous group that took down the GDB briefly? Anyone ever find out who they were in any case? I would diffenatly love to show them a similar favor, thats for sure.

Hmm.. Some search bots do that, sometimes. It's not always a *chuckle* hacker.

Damn.. A hacker meant a programming god when I was young. Now people who try to use the programs other people wrote to hack porn and discussion boards are called hackers.
