So, now that we've had a while to get used to the new one, which Armageddon logo do you like best?  For reference purposes take another look at logos through the ages:

Looking at the old ones, it is clear to me now that there is no sun and desert involved in the damn design. It's just some funky crystal/amber something with a reflection on it.

I like the old one.

I think the old old one would be better if it had more than say, 12 colors.

While I like the new logo itself, I'm not a huge fan of the new font on the front page for the title Armageddon MUD. It's a little too big and feels out of place, in terms of style. A combination of the new logo design and the old Times New Roman font would look nice, IMO.

I have good taste, and if one just removed the new one's sharp 'shadow' I might prefer that logo to the old one. Despite its fluffiness.

The font's a mistake too, yup. I like that they were willing to change stuff though.

Wow.... the really old ones got a quite cool retro-90's-funk-hop feel.

I like the new one. The 'sharp shadow' thing, I don't see as a shadow... the whole center reflects a feel of looking at zalanthan landscape through a slightly wall-eyed lens.

I love the new one, It looks like logo burned itself through the page.

Oh yeah. They're a couple of mountains. Then that's a great idea. They should just be textured a tidbit more, have their edge-pixels fuzzified, have their not entirely mountainly curves shifted betterly, and the shine/suk-krath should peek out slightly concealed by them. And the shine should then also be more reddish, as Suk. Probably a wise idea to enlarge the logo by 33% to cram the extra detail in there.
I'd actually up till now thought it was a crazy-dumb flawed shadow-thing done in a minute. My pardons to the author, it's a good idea. I'd like to play around with the .psd if anyone would let me.

I voted for the new one but really, I'd like to see something a bit more in between the old and the new one. I agree with the idea that the shine needs a bit more red in it.

I like the middle one, but probably just because that was the one in-use when I started playing.  And because no one will ever mistake the new one for a gith clitoris.   The evolution is interesting though.
