Hidden Tdesc

Started by RogueGunslinger, November 04, 2009, 02:02:42 AM

Simple as it sounds, a separate tdesc that would be revealed maybe via watch or someones perception skill.

At last, I don't have to use phemote for boners.

I can see more use out of directed h|s|emotes. I can't see many reasons why a hidden tdesc would be useful.

Remember, you're never in trouble if you don't get caught!

Besides, the players know best

so you don't have to hemote having a boner every time someone walks in.

I think it just adds to the confusion of the game.  I vote no for that reason.

Confusion?

Let's say our favorite bartender has something on his mind and staff want people to see it.(obviously simplifying for the examples sake this could be a two players)

Quotewatch bartender

you begin watching a long-haired, middle-aged bartender

l bartender

You look up at the long-haired, middle-aged bartender.
Thick locks of wavy, peppered hair dwindle themselves down this man's
back, coalescing into magnificent weaves of twining black and white near his
back.  His face is hard and rugged, the corners of his eyes and lips cracked
and wrinkled, showing the signs of age.  He is plump, retaining a wide girth
around his midsection, and his limbs are filled with a bulk given more to
fat than to muscle.
His clothes are pressed and sharp looking, and his skin recently cleaned,
giving him a dapper appearance.

*You notice lines of worry crease his features every so often, and his
attention seems distracted.

The long-haired, middle-aged bartender is in excellent condition.

The long-haired, middle-aged bartender is using:
<neck>                   a blue and purple inked band
<worn on torso>          a tight black leather shirt
<hands>                  a six-pronged star
<worn as belt>           a black hide belt
<worn on legs>           a pair of crimson-piped, black silk pants
<worn on feet>           a pair of glossy snakeskin boots

Talk (raising a brow at ~bartender, his voiced tinged with concern) What's up? You look worried.

That's not really confusing at all.

Its confusing because you have to know the difference between:
emote, pemote, semote, hemote, hpemote, spemote, tdesc, change ldesc, htdesc, feel, think, bio

Exactly. What's one more?  ;)

Every time you add a new command, a pair of boots disappears from Zalanthas.
