Kudoes...I did like your most recent character....My character LOVED to hate him...But I as a player truly appreciated having him around for my character to hate. lol
I can appreciate a good antagonist for my PC's, they make them worth playing.

Aw, thanks! And your most recent character is exactly the way I was supposed to play mine, so kudos back!

But it has to come in the form of a coded kudos, else it doesn't count.. Or at least in the form of a question.. Or maybe a love letter (like the first kudos I ever got.)
"When I was a fighting man, the kettle-drums they beat;
The people scattered gold-dust before my horse's feet;
But now I am a great king, the people hound my track
With poison in my wine-cup, and daggers at my back."

Really? I never got it :( Oh my God, the Staff must hate me, or they were jealous and decided to keep it for themselves.

Also, wtf mate? No player Kudos for over a year now! Unless im forgetting.

I got kudos for the first time about a month ago at my favorite PC's death.... Sucked that he died because of some stupid (I even think because of a coded problem) reason, but the kudos made it all worth it.  ;D

This.

I lost an amazing character a month or so ago to similar circumstances, and the kudos I recieved for his death scene elevated my perception of the event from "complete, asinine bullshit" to "eh, not so bad."

Alright, I'm using this to send a general staff kudos.

Today...well, yesterday now, I think I've seen more things fixed, like on the fly then...well, I've never seen things done so quickly.

So...Right on guys! I'd send beer or packos, but limit is gonna have to be $50 total.

If you -want- me to think that your character is a hybrid of a black kryl and a white push-broom shaped like a penis, then you've done a great job

Wtf is packos?
<Morgenes> Dunno if it's ever been advertised, but we use Runequest as a lot of our inspiration, and that will be continued in Arm 2
<H&H> I can't take that seriously.
<Morgenes> sorry HnH, can't take what seriously?
<H&H>Oh, I read Runescape. Nevermin

Just got kudos, thanks for whoever sent it!

I've never got a code kudo from any player, as I've only been playing for 10 months (give or take one maybe), that doesn't seem to be that big of a deal. I've gotten kudos from people outside of the coded ones, which made me feel special, warm and fuzzy!
I would still love to get a coded kudo.  ;)

The closest thing I've gotten to a coded kudo, would be a staff note, that had a statement with "Awesome" at the end. I laughed reading it, and thank you for that moment, whoever that was.  8)
"Don't take life too seriously, nobody ever makes it out alive anyway."

I've played for nigh twelve years and I've only got one coded kudo.  I guess I suck.

I'll just tell myself that for most of those years kudos weren't around.  Yeah, that's why.  Has nothing to do with my personal level of suckage.  ;)
Tryin' to make friends but people are jerks,
So I'm gonna put some fleas on you.
And the fleas'll have the plague,
And they'll make you cough a lot,
Then you'll be too sick to hurt my feelings anymore.

I havn't recieved one either. Bleh. I guess I'll quit.

Posting. Yea.

Arm is evil.  And I love it.  It's like the softest, cuddliest, happy smelling teddy bear in the world, except it is stuffed with meth needles that inject you everytime

The easiest way to earn lots of kudos:

  • Play a long-lived, well-known character with lots of friends and enemies, and then...
  • Die in a horribly unpredictable and public fashion.
And I vanish into the dark
And rise above my station

  • Make a character with a really, really good description.

HELL YES.

i only send kudos when someone dies in a horribly unpredictable and public fashion.

I should send more kudos.

In the spirit of a generally positive atmosphere on the forums, this probably warrants a bump.
I can think of a few people I should've sent them to in the last few months but absolutely forgot.
"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.

"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."

"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.

"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

I just sent a couple because I randomly got a couple. Good begets goodness.

I still think the best closure you get in Armageddon is just moving on to the next character.

Indeed; this has inspired me to send a few kudos!

I have to agree, kudos always give a nice fuzzy warm feeling and make you want to play your character more in those down times.

I totally was sending kudos before seeing this thread, posers.  :o
