Coins

Didn't think this was important enough to waste a slot in the Arm Reborn forum, but please code coins in 2.arm so that typing "put coins pack" will automatically put all the coins in your inventory in your pack.  Leave in the option to specify a certain number of coins, but set the default to move them all.

That's all.

Ha, must've missed the big announcement when they finally fixed that.

I don't always act superior... but when I do it's on the forums of a text-based game

I didn't know about it until relativly recently either.  When was it added anyway?

Maso - In the not so distant past, likely before you came to this mud, to put your coins away, you would have to type out the exact number of coins in your inventory.  For example, if you had 2498 coins, you'd have to type 'put 2498 coins pack'.  It was like this for a long time.

Then one day it changed to the much simpler 'put coins pack', and I don't believe it was ever announced.

So that is how Synthesis and other older players can 'not know that, really.'

But I am glad we all know it now.

Holy shit. That's wonderful!

Totally made my day, now I save a whole 2 seconds of pressing 'i' and then the amount of my coins.
HOOORAHHHH!!!

This can't have been in the game for too long, since I used to type 'put coins pack' all the time and got annoyed each time it didn't work.

This is great!

Pretty sure it's been in game since about last summer. When I started playing almost a year a go, you had to type out the number of coins. Then at some point during the summer to early fall, I accidentally didn't type the # once, and discovered that "put coins backpack" would work on its own. We've talked about it on the board before, but there was never an official announcement.

I'm gonna go all Gimfalisette on you guys and lay down some numbers.

Mmm, I dont think so, man. I'm 'almost' certain it didnt work this january at the very least.

Yeah, I used to hate having to type the number of coins when you wanted to put them away. I just recently, like a month or two found out you could even do it.

Ah, and Zoltan the n00b has always had the convenience of 'put coins pack'. What a good time to join up...

Wait the game is ending?! Dang.

My apologies for not posting a formal announcement, I apparently checked this in back in on 9/15/2006 along with:
