Rquire or Allow Multiple keywords on dangerous commands

I would be so happy to see this.

like psi, but for kill.

Please clarify, I have no clue as to what you're saying.

On second read, I'm assuming you mean something like:

kill elf blue-eyed

To allow you to kill the blue-eyed elf instead of the red-nosed one.

It's been added to psi, so it can be done.  Makes sense to me!
(Assuming that's what you mean.)

He wants I believe ...

A Room
Room Description
the blue-eyed man
the blue-skinned monster

> hit blue

You hit the blue-eyed man.

> flee
blah blah
> hit blue monster

So the ability to use multiple keywords to specify a target, such as you can do with the psi command.

It could be quite useful, it's not a problem I run into often, but perhaps often enough to be needed? But then probably not used in spammy, fight for your PC's life situation, might not have time to type multiple key words, but it'd be nice to have the option.

I tend to think this would go best in group fights, so you can easily target someone without having to look through a keyword list.
Any questions, comments, or condemnations to an eternity of fiery torment?

Waving a hammer, the irate, seething crafter says, in rage-accented sirihish :
"Be impressed.  Now!"

Personally, I think EVERYTHING should have multiple keyword definition.

sit red.table
stand at blue.table
kill agafari.chair.curved.backed.polished.four.legged

It would prevent a lot of embarassing emotes and make response time faster than having to check the keyword list.

Just my opinion, of course, but I really don't see how it would do anything but good.
eeling YB, you think:
    "I can't believe I just said that."

Allow? Yes, good idea. Require? Heck no.

Agreed.  I have seen it most often done like this:

sit 'red table'
stand 'blue table'
kill 'agafari chair curved backed polished four legged'

I was alarmed to find that a game so advanced as Armageddon didn't have this coded.

The period thing is just how they did it in my old H&S mud, which means the transition to that syntax would be more convienent for me. Seeing as how I'm the most important player, I think it should be done my way. ;)

In all seriousness, though, I don't really care about the syntax. I'd just love to be able to use multiple keywords.

I totally agree, I don't care how it's done, I would love to see it.

I dunno. If people pay attention it isn't really needed.

I can tell you for sure it won't be tonight. So no point in poking at it all night long. I'd suggest sleep, or failing that, take to the streets and wreak havoc.

Allow.  Do not require.  It would make things all too complicated if it were required.
some of my posts are serious stuff

Once against a topic that we are all in unison about,
to: ghost I agree though I doubt they would require it as they don't require it
for Psi

Another voice chiming in.  It's a rare thing to need, but can lead to ridiculous IC things for an absolutely OOC issue.  I'd very much like to see this in place.

Only if it was not required. I don't usually mess up with keywords much. Once in a great while I do, but it's usually just because I forgot there was another target not because I knew there was and I didn't use the right syntax to get the right one.

May the fap be with you, always. ;D

The only time I screw up is when someone enters the room as I'm hitting 'enter.'  It doesn't happen often.

I say allow for those times you HAVE to make sure.

I say don't require, because sometimes, you really have to do something quickly.

Yea, please multi keywords
