Post by: KankWhisperer on December 10, 2011, 04:58:23 PM
I think its cool how such a large portion of the population in one area has decided to be fat.

If just one man in one area is fat enough, is he still a large proportion of fat person?

Compliment, I like it because its not the typical lithe/rugged/muscular fantasy fulfillment people tend to play.

Lots of fat people with american names.

This is a case of "trickle-down-fat" -- employees/ those with whom the truly fat nobility and GMH adore have sustained enough food to manage to have a little extra to store.

It also, goes to prove there are more than sids when it comes to status -- the fat often separates classes.

It could also be genetic. Couldn't it? There's people out there with massive bodies due to unfortunate genes, that's not just an excuse right?

Thyroid disorders can cause weight gain, but in my experience, it never made me morbidly obese. Or obese ... at all.

That's just one example, though I wanna see a buxom aide shouting:
"My boobs are huge because I'm hypothyroid!!"

QuoteImproper Digestion
In some cases, a distended belly is mistaken for belly fat. Improper digestion may be caused by illness, disease, genetics or stress. As digestion slows, gas builds up inside the gastrointestinal tract and causes the area to bloat. As a result, the stomach feels distended, puffy, uncomfortable and large. Sometimes, this combination of symptoms imitates belly fat. Before assuming you have belly fat, consider the possibility of excess gas inside the body.

Maybe those folks are so bunged up eating nothing but travel cakes that their natural gasses have inflated their stomach. All they need is a good bit of flatulence!

PC population does not equal world population, average PC does not equal average Zalanthan.

In fact, many PCs live highly sedentary urban lives and certainly are not struggling with hunger. I'd expect to see more obesity, not less.
