Artistic crafts?

Do these exist?  Ways to make pictures and stuff? I know the likely answer is no due to how easily it would be abused, but  is there anyway this could be made to work?  Closely monitored or something?

If by abused you mean that people could use it to write stuff down.. there is a scribble (or something) command that lets you draw pictures in the sand.. so I don't see where that would be an excuse not to implement such a thing, if it isn't already.

There are a LOT of art objects in the game.. LOTS, but so far as I can tell the only way to actually make anything like art is by emailing the staff.  The plus side to this is good art shouldn't be all over the yplace and making it possible for anyone to do it means probably just about everyone will start spiting out 'master pieces'.  But on the same token if someone wants to really persue an artistic charector, thats a lot of object requests from the staff.
