I enjoyed the events last night in Allanak. I want to thank the staff and players who made it so good.

Means that whoever was in Allanak that time, The staff wanted them to play because something was going to happen there that was most likely going to affect the majority of the people there.

From one of those that helped a little in planning a small part of it, thanks for the thank you.  It's nice to know that the work that even a new player puts in is appreciated.  I enjoyed it also.
