SMF Forum Mod/Extention One-off

Our forums are the latest (as of this post) version of Simple Machine Forums.  https://www.simplemachines.org/
It is free, open-source software and has a decent number of modules/packages/plugins you can get.

If someone in the community were able to write a plugin that would help with the anonymized clan access issue, we would definitely use it (after a code review!).  What it would do is automatically show Anonymous as the poster on sub-forums flagged with this feature.

The following is what I believe this plugin should do:
- A checkbox/feature for individual sub-forums that will automatically anonymize the poster.  Users would not have to create a new account, instead they can safely post anonymously in the forums with this feature enabled without having to do anything.
- A new permissions role that allows someone to see who posted anonymously.
- Moderators and Board Admins would automatically see who posted anonymously, too.
- When someone posts in a sub-forum with this enabled, it would just show up as Anonymous or whatever.  But people with the role to see it would be shown something like "Anonymous (Zealus)".
- Be listed in the SMF packages publicly for others to use.

I found a module sort of like this, https://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=544446.0 , but it's something a user does each post.  We don't want that, rather, we'd want it to automatically happen in sub-forums flagged for this.

We're reaching out to the community for this because 1) we don't have the direct expertise in this software to customize it like that and 2) we don't have the bandwidth to learn it and do it.

If you're interested in helping with this, or heck if you guys want to do this collaboratively, that'd be swell.  This would definitely earn "Contributes to the Game" karma point.
