EDIT:  A little back and forth or talk about things is fine, but let's keep the discussion in THIS THREAD to a minimum so as not to bury suggestions.

Real stories, real consequences.

Like Second Life, but less brutal.

Masks are the Armageddon equivalent of Ed Hardy shirts.

Armageddon: Where endings collide.

Armageddon: Vices, Vanquishing and Victory.

Armageddon: Red Sun, Red Sands, Blood Red Schemes.

"Mystery, riches, glory."
Respect. Responsibility. Compassion.

I had:
Outwit. Outlast. Outrule.

But uhh.. OoOooooo OOO.. ooo :(

How about a short sentence like:

Tell your own story in a post-apocalyptic Zalanthas, a ruined land ruled by sorcerer-kings and their powerful templarate...

(If you live)

Whatever format (within reason, guys, no ascii vulgar art) you like, we'll look at them all.

Survive. Adapt. Conquer.
The desert remembers
Your choices write the next chapter
Survival demands sacrifice
Will you bend or break?
Your choices, your consequences, your legacy.

Not a suggestion but just a comment to add.. To me the Arm themes I am most attached to are: the mud's post apocalyptic desert, sorcerous stylings; the fact that it's permadeath and a survival game; and it's roleplay enforced.

Sul-Krath always rises.

Corruption, betrayal, revenge.  Just need to stop leading with murder really.

Corruption is great it gives criminals space to be naughty and drives continued low to medium stakes conflict.

Betrayal is still key I think.  It's not a big part of my play.  But it speaks to volatility and politics.

Murder is fine, but the point is not to lead with it. So what do we want to go with corruption and betrayal? Revenge! Perpetuate the cycle.

Gaslight, Girlboss, Gatekeep.

Armageddon: Blood, Sand, and Betrayal
Armageddon: Swords, Sorcery, and Shenanigans
Armageddon: Sand, Swords, and Sorcery
Armageddon: Dark Sun meets Dune
Armageddon: Desert Fun Beneath a Blood Red Sun
Armageddon: Silt, Sorcery, and Spice
Armageddon: Blood, Fury, Sand
Armageddon: Silt, Sand, and Silk
Armageddon: Where Roleplay and Writing collide
Armageddon: Fury, Silk, and Sorcery

Sand, Spice, Sid.
Stories Between The Sands.
The Desert Takes All.
Shade and Water.
I make up for the tiny in-game character limit by writing walls of text here.

Armageddon: How long can you survive?

Beneath a dying sun, legends will rise

Quote from: kahuna on May 28, 2024, 07:14:02 PMBeneath a dying sun, legends will rise

I really like that..or something near it! Anything that doesn't have betrayal in the Tag line.

Armageddon, in a dying world how will you survive?
Armageddon, choose your path through the sun scorched wastes...

I don't know anything that doesn't scream 'hey be a dick because that's more important that rping a realistic character.' Thats how the old tag line read to me. I hated the old tag line. It need to be inviting but hint to the harsh nature of the game.
The sound of a thunderous explosion tears through the air and blasts waves of pressure ripple through the ground.

Looking northward, the rugged, stubble-bearded templar asks you, in sirihish:
     "Well... I think it worked...?"

What about the rearranged:

Armageddon MUD: Legends will rise beneath a dying sun

or does that emphasize a dying sun that we don't ACTUALLY have?

Not serious ones:

Armageddon: Softly, softly
Armageddon: Are you a geddon?
Armageddon: The Ladies Love a Stone Mage
Armageddon: Feed us your boots.
Armageddon: Consent?
Armageddon: F*ckin' Runners!
Armageddon: Flee, Flee, Flee, Flee, Flee, Flee, Flee
Armageddon: I'm the bad guy, duhh

(I had to get those out, the struggle)
Actual suggestions

Armageddon: This World is What You Make It.

Armageddon: A story wrought in scars, in the ashes of an Empire

Armageddon: Broken, Damned, Drained

Armageddon: A world where embers of hope burn the hearts that hold them

Armageddon: Life alone above Truth, Fate ruling over Kings, and Deceit prior to Death
(The last one was taken from the kruth rules for Whira's Luck, it only works if we make sure to keep that line in the helpfile, imo)

For real, Shade and Water hit me as iconic, relevant, and evocative. Nice work Kavrick.
FN: VooDoo_Tree, Arm: Kevo, Raptor_Dan, Discord: Ain_Soph, Walter_Schmalter, RL: Kevin, Blue Sky, Alex Marzenia.

Your only job is to breathe. Keep breathing.

Smurf City, Except Not.
ArmageddonMUD: The One Game Disneyworld Doesn't Want You To Know About.

Just kidding. I still like the original: Murder, Corruption, Betrayal.

I also like Kavrick's "The Desert Takes All."
Talia said: Notice to all: Do not mess with Lizzie's GDB. She will cut you.
Delirium said: Notice to all: do not mess with Lizzie's soap. She will cut you.

A general game tagline idea:
Despair, Deceit, Defiance

And a Season One-specific tagline idea:
Of Copper and Corruption

I wasn't sure if this was going to be a per-season thing, or just going forward across potentially many seasons, so I figured I'd tailor my suggestions to both possibilities!
"All stories eventually come to an end." - Narci, Fable Singer

Merciless Sands.

I like Rheaghe's "Where endings collide."
That beauty and truth should pass utterly

ArmageddonMUD.

The world was broken.

Will you be ?
I tripped and Fale down my stairs. Drink milk and you'll grow Uaptal. I know this guy from the state of Tenneshi. This house will go up Borsail tomorrow. I gave my book to him Nenyuk it back again. I hired this guy golfing to Kadius around for a while.

Ahem.  *movie trailer voice begins*

In a world of where despots and sorcery contend for the fear in your heart and  a sun-scorched wilderness strives to grind the meat from your bones comes a body of words in constant creation, collected collaboratively, shared competitively, and uniting under a banner of hopes and dreams that can suddenly churn into cries of elation, gasps of joy, and tears of loss.  Creation fights survival, stories are spun, weaved, and lost, and through all of it, the ever present sandstorm rages.

Armageddon:  Where your hopes rise and fall like Empires, your story swells and ebbs like winds, but only the sand remains.
She wasn't doing a thing that I could see, except standing there leaning on the balcony railing, holding the universe together. --J.D. Salinger
