Quotewe have opened the following full guild elementalists for normal play:

- Drov (shadow) - 3 karma
- Vivadu (water) - 2 karma

This means that a special-app is not required, nor are you required to played a gemmed mage.

We have also made the following subguilds specapp only, removing them from the normal menu:
- Water_Healing
- Water_Corruption
- Water_Creation
- Shadow_Stalker
- Shadow_Dancer

Water_touched, and Drov_touched are still normally available.

Question 1:
Do you require a Gem to play it?

Question 2:
Can I still make a Fighter + Shadow Stalker through a special application?

Question 3:
Can I still special app for a gemmed Full Elementalist Whiran?

Question 4:
Can I make a Full Elementalist Whiran without the Gem?

Question 5:
I made a Drovian Shadow Stalker subclass, can I put in a special application to make it a full elementalist now?

You win Armageddon, congratulations!  Type 'credits', then store your character and make a new one

1.  "This means that a special-app is not required, nor are you required to played a gemmed mage".  So this means that no, you do not have to be a gemmed to play a full guild vivaduan or full guild drovian.

2.  Yes, you can still make a fighter/shadow-stalker via special application

3.  Yes, you can still special app for full guild gemmed whiran, krathi, rukkian, elkrosian.

4.  No, see above

5.  This announcement is still applicable:  https://gdb.armageddon.org/index.php/topic,59261.0.html  If you are a subguild Drovian/Vivaduan and want to go the path of "bound", you can pursue that in-character as a gemmed mage in Allanak.  "Bound" is an IC method to go from subguild elementalist to full guild elementalist as a gemmed mage.  Pursue this in-character.

As someone who wasn't really around for full guild elementalists, how does this work? Does this mean that a full guild Vivaduan has the powers of all three aspects detailed on the wiki?

Yes, however.

The class does not have any combat skills, including weapon skills.  It also does not have any perception skills, manipulation skills, or any other major skills.

It's just spells.   This is originally why the subclasses were created - to give some usefulness to the magicker classes.

I moved some posts to the Moderated section.  Please keep this thread to be questions about the most recent changes to Drovian and Vivaduan classes and subclasses.

The following helpfiles have been updated:

Vivaduans
drovians
karma options

Hopefully this is helpfile, especially for new players not familiar with the back and forth.  If not, please let me know your suggestions here.

Do the full guilds have skills like touched do? Or are the minor skills they get unrelated?

Would it be alright to know what skills each full guild get to better help people decide their subguild?

QuoteThe Water Elementalist guild may be chosen by those with two karma. This guild possesses the full gamut of magick the different aspects of vivadu encompasses. It has an extremely limited, basic selection of skills that cap at very low levels.

Contact
Barrier
Expel
Dual wield
Two handed
Shield use
Analyze
Ride
Watch
Drawing
Cooking
Pilot

As far as I recall, they cap at like low apprentice, except the psionic skills.

Should also be forage, as far as I know, forage is universal like analyze is. It's a question of whether or not you pick something that makes it better that decides if you're good at it and can find food, but you should still be able to forage stuff.

Masks are the Armageddon equivalent of Ed Hardy shirts.
