Ride the half-giant?

Strap a battle-encampment on a HG and mount up.

Rider echo: You tug on a half-giants ear in an attempt to lead it on, but it has a mind of it's own. You can't dismount until your escort is sitting. Hold on!

HG echo: A 'little' is tugging on your ear to the east. You hardly notice it.

As much fun as I thought it would of been to post this.. I'll admit I was half awake.
My true curiosity lies in a cage that a HG could wear and keep a "wild raptor" pet lizard. Or used to lock up and transport caught PC for RP and suspense. Give an RP outlet for the beast of burden HG are.

And for the littles.. (and mayybe the big guys too)  Ankle Items/travel gear I have in mind and tried to create IG a few times.

Ankle mounted shin blades for deadly kicks.
Ankle mounted stilts (adjustable and easy to break like the Bow code has) too much weight on them and they break.. Set them before you buy them and know the limits of your set tension. Stilts of different length/build could possibly be for a taller aspect giving an advantage to scanning. (boost to scan/ranged weapons, -1 movement cost in desert) Medium-stilts for a faster pace (boost to speed, fleeing/evasion -1 movement cost in desert) . Short stilts for an enduring pace. (bonus to sneak, -2 movement in desert)  All stilts have a huge negative to bash/charge and added ground time when taken off balance.

You could generalize this to some sort of mount/carry mechanic that would replace friendly use of subdue.
