My brain is constantly filled with the sound of elevator music, as the Gods intended.

Because you are the cameras. YOU. Everyone make sure you TURN CLIENT LOGGING ON and lets all work to stitch this together into a final cut in a year or two. :D

Instructions for BLOODBALL!

Bloodball Rules

A grey and crimson clad Borsail page is willing to tell you carefully
memorized details about how Bloodball is played:

Teams are four players each with one serving as team captain. No
half-giants or muls.

Each team has a BASE. One team has the first chraden. The other team has
the fourth chraden, on the opposite side of the arena. In each BASE, is
a CONVICT. The goal of the game is to kill the other team's CONVCIT with
the BLOODBALL.

Play begins with three players from each team inside their BASES. The
fourth player is a SUB who must remain in the arena staging room until
tagged in by a teammate. The BLOODBALL starts on the beast's chraden in
the middle of the arena. A double toll of the arena bell signals the start
of play.

During play, each team must keep one player inside their BASE as a GUARD.
Thus, there are two players per team on the FIELD between the BASES who
may run the BLOODBALL, attempt throws, tag in their SUB, or anything
else not disallowed by the rules.

All manner of combat is allowed except for MAGICK or POISONS. Players may
wear armor, carry a shield if they wish, and they may also use a sparring
weapon of any type except for a club. Clubs are disallowed to make the
ball-carrier more visible to the crowd.

When you have the BLOODBALL you must wield it. Again, this is to make the
ball-carrier more visible to the crowd.

Players may not enter the other team's BASE unless they are dragged there
by the opposing team as a HOSTAGE. HOSTAGES may not leave the base until
their team's CONVICT is struck by the BLOODBALL. In other words, when your
team makes a successful throw, you must release any HOSTAGES. Once taken,
a HOSTAGE may not be harmed.

Players may render aid such as smelling salts and bandages to each other.
SUBS may receive aid from the arena chirurgeon, if one is available. Giving
aid to your CONVICT is strictly disallowed.

An INFRACTION is an instance of rule-breaking and will result in a free
throw, an uninterrupted toss of the bloodball which does not result in the
freeing of any HOSTAGES.

[THERE IS MORE, PRESS ENTER]
INFRACTIONS include,

- Entering the other team's BASE without being put there by an opposing player.
- Carrying the BLOODBALL without wielding it.
- HOSTAGES escaping the BASE outside of a successful throw.
- HOSTAGE abuse results in them being freed in addition to the free throw.
- Failing to keep a GUARD inside your BASE.
- Use of real weapons.

A GRIEVOUS INFRACTION is a level of rule-breaking deemed serious enough
to warrant a larger pentalty. The precise penalty levied may vary, but
a typical result is the offender swaps places with their team's CONVICT.

GRIEVOUS INFRACTIONS include,

- Giving aid to to a CONVICT.
- Use of magick or poisons.
- Player killing.
