At one point I had a character that was a coded member of five completely unrelated clans. Simultaneously!

I had a single character who was in the following:

The Byn (clanned twice)
House Oash
The Guild (clanned twice)
The Arm of the Dragon (clanned twice)
the Rebellion

He was a ranked officer in every clan except the Guild.
I used the rebel command at least once on every... single.. one of them

my favorite moment was this:

>rebel rebellion

The PC died as a captain in the arm of the dragon, but only the first rank in the guild .

I remember being caught by a sorceror once and he was trying frighten me by saying he knew everything about me, and I was like "psshhh he doesn't even know my real name!"

Who was that? Kazyn?

If he was cool enough to join the T'Zai Byn twice, his name must have been Kazwyn.

How could you have been in the AoD and the Rebellion!?

He was a spy for the AoD, durrr.

This is arm after all, it's all about making lifelong friends who would follow you to the ends of Zalanthas and then brutally stabbing them in the back.

OH, thanks for reminding me.

I made an assassain con-artist character named Teth(if i recall correctly) who convinced another, younger PC he was his father. Over the course of a rl month and many interactions I'd developed a strong bond, and convinced my characters "son" to move south to luirs with him taking all the money and possessions they had. Once there they rented an apartment, and our final interaction with eachother came down to this:

Fakeson, dropping the last few coins into a large bag: "Alright pa, we got a total of 'bout three large. Heh, I've never seen so much 'sid in one spot."

Teth: "I'm not your pa, kid. And you wont see this much black in one spot again."

Fakeson emotes looking extremely confused.

>Change accent southern

Teth, rising with a long obsidian dagger, his accent gaining a harsh drawl: "My name's Teth, I ain' yer father."

>Backstab fakeson

Whoever played that character got kudos from me twice, it was fuckin' awesome.

RGS, that is fucking brutal. *bows in a "I'm not worthy!" fashion*

You rented an apartment in Luir's? This was possible, once upon a time in the distant past? Now, the nice plot twist you described aside, that alone is something to brag about, heh.

You managed to rent an apartment in Luirs? That is even more impressive.

Here's an antibrag: for all my time playing an elf, I have never ever managed to pull a con or scam of any kind.

Managed to pull of a scam with every single of my long lived Delves, within the first 10 hours of playing.

I pulled a scam on a D-Elf once. Then I was knocked unconscious, had my teeth sharpened and my ears trimmed.

You find a rusty, armed landmine and pick it up.

Apart from my first character, (an aide that died to a halfling after 6 months) and one character that... tripped over that well during the only time I was possessed by the urge to explore nak, I have always, ALWAYS died to a PC. Stored characters don't count.

Public executions, assassinations, sheer stupidity on my part to sheath weapons silently (I was about to backstab someone with my max assassin, then the victim's talk put me to sleep due to boredom.... and I forgot why I had knife out), more assassinations, clumsy assassinations, twinked assassinations.

So yes, all PC.
Don't piss me off. I'm running out of places to hide the bodies.

I once had really shitty wireless connection that would cut out at random. One time was when my Bynner and his sergeant were out hunting,
I lost my connection for maybe twenty minutes or so, and logged back in to this:

Salt Flats [NESW]
A vast region of flat land stretches in all directions for as far as the
eye can see, the almost unnaturally even surface appearing to consist of a
whitish-grey crystalline salt. There is no vegetation here, nor any obvious
sign of animal life. The blazing crimson orb of Suk-Krath hangs far above,
sending its relentless heat upon the ground and causing the endless horizon
to shimmer and blur as it meets the sky.
The body of the sturdy, darkly-tanned man lies crumpled on the salty soil.
A ruddy-brown mekillot is here, fighting you.
A large war beetle crawls about, struggling against its chitin harness.

Maybe you should get on your feet first.

Your blow bounces off a ruddy-brown mekillot's tough skin.
You lash out and slice a ruddy-brown mekillot with a dusty pair of anakore-claw gloves.

Managed to get the PC out of it, to live for another RL year or so. Still, it's left me with a nervous twitch every time my link drops.

That would scare the shit out of me dude.

Oh my god he's still rocking the sandwich.

This was a loooong time ago but I had a d-elf climb the shield wall to punch the plainsman in the face. He lived to talk about it.
A staff member sends you:
"Normally we don't see a <redacted> walk into a room full of <redacted> and start indiscriminately killing."

You send to staff:
"Welcome to Armageddon."

I remember when I was relatively new imm for the Byn, sending them on some crazy expeditions.  One of them was an escort quest of a truly annoying northern woman that involved falling off the shield wall (of course), sandstorms, and being attacked by a mekillot, only to have a silt giant run in, punch the mekillot in the face, subdue it, and run off into the salt flats.  The northern woman made everything awful because she kept getting in harm's way.  I think Spoon's character was in that one.

I remember being on the edge of my seat, wondering if everyone was going to die.  The funny thing is, I don't think any of it (beside the silt giant) was really my fault...mostly.  They got into all that trouble all by themselves.

Did that also involve her sitting down in the road, refusing to move, and screaming and yelling the entire escort, attracting raptors?
A dark-shelled scrab pinches at you, but you dodge out of the way.
A dark-shelled scrab brandishes its bone-handled, obsidian scimitar.
A dark-shelled scrab holds its bloodied wicked-edged, bone scimitar.

Heard about the first instance (that one Wolfsong), on the second contract as all the Bynners were calling her 'raptor bait'.

Yep, that was my PC that jumped off the shield wall after the northern woman. It was the first time I noticed there was a command put in to stop people doing
that by accident. But hey, my PC rolled poor wisdom, AND he was in the Byn.

One time my warrior (Bob) went with his buddy (Tom) to a place that was frequented by mantis that we killed.  We had noticed, after going there a few times, that more and more mantis were appearing.  One day, we walked into the area and a few mantis appear.  Combat ensues.  As the carnage of spam begins, more mantis appear.  Finally, I look in the room and see us taking on eight mantis.

You say, "Tom?"

I can think of two moments in my Zalanthan history that really, really, really stick out for me and if I can find the logs (good luck with that one) I will do my best but:

As an Agent in House Kadius:

[Olgaris] A lot of crazy stuff happened involving PC names and specific instances. [/Olgaris]

Kadius during that time and the four or so months that followed is still my favorite Arm experience ever.
