Bragging (no ic spoilers please)

I had a PC give another PC 80,000 hard, coded obsidian coins.

It took 8 bags and 2 inix.

I have seen Eniriah's visible imm form.

(It was pretty hot.)
And I vanish into the dark
And rise above my station

I chilled in Eniriah's bratmobile, and saw the dented Vanthmobile before it was sent to the shop.

eniriah made me throw a pose and sing about my shirt

.... and my sexiness
some of my posts are serious stuff

I bought some thing earrings once from the Kadian shop and was wearing them around for a little while.... After a while, I wondered what the weird word in the description meant and I searched for common synonims (sp) and it turns out, the earrings were made of silver. Pure silver. So, I went back to kadius to buy the rest. Bought 3 silver earrings for 400 coins total.

I later felt bad, sold them back to kadius, an elf in there saw it, and bought one just after I wished up to inform the imms they were selling silver shit real cheap.

So.. I had 3 solid silver earrings less than 2 years ago.

Arm is evil.  And I love it.  It's like the softest, cuddliest, happy smelling teddy bear in the world, except it is stuffed with meth needles that inject you everytime

Those earrings were painted silver, not actual silver.

No.. From the looks of things and the Quick reaction from the imms, and the note on my account... They were silver. Unless they've been fucking with me. Which isn't out of the question.

No, I could just be thinking of a different object where I had the same reaction, but realized my folly awhile later :P

In my account notes, a certain shadow of an IMM wrote: "believes he need follow only the rules he agrees with - 8/13/04"

Pretty neat.

I don't think I have any account notes.

But I probably should. I'm guild_assassin, that means I kill people, right?

-_-

I have had more then two characters who owned metal, not included rings and never stole it. I had a character who kept about 40k hidden throughout their 'home' not including materials or worldly posessions. I have survived insulting sorcs, mindbenders and magickers more then once, including a defiler's kanking ability after sleeping with them. Some of my characters have had torrid love affairs, great tragedies, and wild adventures painted in terror, betrayal and impossible hope.
Look into the mirror.
What do you see?
I see you,
And you see me.

The only thing I truly feel the need to brag about is that there are several different things in the game that I wrote, submitted, and/or caused to come into being Icly that people see at least some of on a daily basis. I know I'm not the only one but it's the one thing that I'm actually proud of. I'll be sad for those things to disappear when the new game comes around.

I'm responsible for at least one of the blades outside of Luirs. I spent coin to keep that sword there after reboots until they made it a perma object. Now if only I could remember the name of the guy I did it for.

I'm also pretty sure that I was the first PC to have the blade_storm_style_script added to my character after a certain yellow mul taught me it. I don't know if I was the last.

I owned a copper-inlaid Kithara. Ask me what a Kithara is. I dare you.

Pretty thing :( Too bad I haven't seen it in game since and <edited no-emoting-armageddon-replica-creating-asshole> didn't take it from me.

I'm pretty sure it is referred to as Davan's tomb.

There are some pretty funny posts here.

I've had a squad created for me, by Bela the Butcher, in the byn. It's funny because it sounds like a northern squad. My character was anti-everything-north.

Haha. I know where that kithara is in game. Is it enough to brag about?

Had a character give a fat gold and diamond-studded ring to his mate when they were bound.

Got killed by a Tan Muark gypsy who was significantly less skilled in combat. Learned to avoid clan strongholds/shops.

Lost a desert elf Blackmoon raider to running back and trying to save his a mullish warband chief vs a templarate attack

(Who was that old.. not Ihsahn, the other one..)

Formed a desert elf tribe that has since, arguably been one of the more consistantly represented in the game world.

Got a note on my account for backstabbing rats

Did a 90+ damage head-shot with archery to an imm alt, later killed it.

Competed with Gold to lead the Tor Scorpions and bitterly lost.

Character touched the surface of some politics and couldn't handle it. Became a bit of a nervous wreck.

Had an off and on affair with a certain famous Oashi advisor that began in the Byn.

Hit on a Templar with a rinthi and survived. Sent in the log and got karma for it.

Raged with a fairly skilled, strong Blackmoon mul and didn't kill anyone.

Lost my first long-lived pc to a poisoned weapon from an aggro halfling npc.

Got a note on my account for running past an aggressive halfling npc on the road.

Nearly solo'd a young unit of Byn with a desert elf ranger. After picking off several we moved in for the kill. PKer flag on account.
Anonymous:  I don't get why magickers are so amazingly powerful in Arm.

Anonymous:  I mean... the concept of making one class completely dominating, and able to crush any other class after 5 days of power-playing, seems ridiculous to me.

Davaz, not Davan, and you're right, but that's only one of them. The other was for a Sergeant my elf took a liking to, in a friendship sense.

Also, in line with the thread, I one-hit killed an elf once with my mul, outside of Red Storm.

I had a drovian once that worked for House Reynolte.  It was a long time ago and I don't remember all of the details, but I remember playing as a very obedient thrall of Drov.  I communed with Drov every sunset that my character was in the game, and I got very panicky when it looked like it was going to be difficult to break away from whatever I was doing.  During these communing sessions I might do anything from casting spells to begging Drov out of jealousy to kill the unborn child of someone else that my character was jealous of.  This was before thinks so everything that I said to Drov I spoke out loud.  That other girl had a miscarriage, and I often wondered OOCly if maybe the other player chose that for themselves, though ICly my character was convinced it was her working and took credit for the death.  It seemed to me that things were really heating up for my character when I was visited by shadows (I assumed Drov) and gifted with a magickal metal ring.  I fessed up to my Reynolte Lords that I was a magicker and I wound up getting killed by hired assassins.  I would probably give just about anything now to know what happened to that ring.  This was probably eight or nine years ago, right after drovians went into the game, whenever that was.  This character lasted for about five days I think but it could have been a few more.  At the time it was still my longest accomplished PC.  Honestly I hardly used my magickal coded skills at all, and I was probably close to a fresh out of the box n00b in terms of what I could do, but I still felt like a complete and utter badass.

I once had a character of mine sacrificed by a drovian.  It might not seem like the kind of thing you would want to brag about, but the play leading up to the deed was incredibly fun.  His character and assistant played out being deceitful very well, and all of the feelings that I had inside of being eager to meet this person, though in the back of my mind being worried that something horrible might happen to me.  Turns out my gut feelings were right, but it was one of the more interesting ends I've fallen to.  Everybody always complains about the horribly non-roleplayed deaths they received.  I got a great roleplay death, so nyah nyah to all of the rest of you.

I once had an evil mul sorcerer that tried to take over the Conclave and was killed while trying to escape their own vile clutches.  :)

The character that I am most proud of would be a gemmer that I played in 'Nak.  I accomplished many things for many people and received much acclaim and praise for my subservience to the Highlord.  Just the sheer number of things that this guy was involved in staggers me sometimes.  I thought I was pretty clever in handling both what I was charged with doing and with finding interesting ways for other characters to make money.  Though he was a con man he really had a lot of nationalism for his city-state.  When he was younger he survived by telling fortunes even though he had no illusion that he could not see the future.  When he was older he helped rig arena fights to come out in a favored way.  He turned in several of his own brethren for being treasonous because they did not show enough gratitude to the Highlord, and even a few that didn't deserve it because they angered him.  He loved fat women passionately but was socially retarded concerning romance because of his background.  There was one Aide in Allanak that I harassed constantly, that to me as a player had seemed to write out their description in such a way as to make her unattractive to other fuckme PCs and thus escape the mudsexxx legacy (come on, I'd have faded to black!).  To my PC she was the most beautiful creature he'd ever seen, with huge tracts of land plenty of meat to support my babies.  My only regret with him is that I had to go AFK in an emergency, right after I typed "kill mekillot"... constantly hoping that the unit of militia I was escorting on a scouting mission could handle it while I was gone.  I can't really tell from my log, but I think they all ran within seconds of the time that I departed from the controls.  Had to be my lamest death ever.  I could probably brag about him forever though.

I -didn't- pay for the assassination of an important person, and got it done anyway.
