When you contact someone it would be nice if you could know if they can hear you or not.

I mean if they are using barrier or arent online instead of contacting someone for 1 rl hour and not knowing if they are there or not.

It used to be like that, but not any more because it was being abused.
If you're trying to contact someone for an hour a) they probably aren't online, or have a barrier up anyhow, and b) go look for them, instead of just using the Way.

Its funny, this is the second time I recall that contact has been changed back to not give any feedback as to whether or not the person is logged in.  Bummer if it was changed because of people abusing it.  But I can see why.
