As I sit up late at night playing, with not a lot of interaction due to being alone in game or what, I open up a split screen and browse help files of interest.

One inconsistency has become apparent, which might just be a mistake or badly worded part of the help file, but I figured I'd ask here, since it is all visible in the help files anyways.

Alright so that's the helpfile which leads you to this link.

Now where it gets confusing is that the staff member says you pick your main guild, just like an elementalist....

Then pick your sorcerer subguild.

QuoteYou can then choose from one of the sorcerer sub-guilds as a sub-guild:
Movement Magick
Enlightenment Magick
Combat Magick
Enchantment Magick

BUT, the first line of all those helpfiles is...
QuoteWhile not a true magick wielder in the way of a Sorceror those who have an affinity for the magick of Combat possess the ability to manipulate energy in a way that can only be termed wizardry.

How are they not a true magick user, when Sorcerers ARE true magick users?

It almost reads like any random person could pick the sorcerer sub-guilds.  Or is the one you choose initially the one that you start with and eventually branch the others?

Just seems odd that the sorcerer sub-guilds are not true sorcerers.

Or is this similar to how Elementalists were changed, there is no such thing as a full sorcerer anymore?

Similar to how elementalists were changed.

Ahh, Cool, so no full blown every spell knowing sorcerers anymore.

Might I recommend updating those helpfiles then to reflect that?

I think true magick should be a term used to describe sorcery, manipulating the arcane, as opposed to a term that means 'knows every spell in the game'.

Unless staff feels otherwise/the lore isn't there.

While not a true magick wielder in the way (that way being having a lot of different paths of magick) of a Sorceror those who have an affinity for the magick of Combat possess the ability to manipulate energy in a way that can only be termed wizardry (defiling/preserving).

Full context makes that make a lot more sense, nvm.
