What's the code to change the 'feel' color?

That falls under the 'psionics' category.

'help change color' has what you need.

Delirium, since you were the hapless victim that answered the OP's question, I'm now latching onto you.  ;)

So, I've tried several times to get the MUD-generated colors to work, but haven't had success.  I'm using SimpleMU, and had quite a few color-triggering "events" that I deleted, in case that was the cause of the issue - no luck.  I even tried copy/pasting the examples, just to see what would happen, but still no color.  Do you know what I'm doing wrong?

I wish I could help but I've never used SimpleMU. Maybe try creating a brand new worldfile?

I believe the replies so far are correct about SimpleMU I'm afraid, it supports a very limited colour set. I was using it until the colour changes, then switched to MUSHclient to be able to take full advantage of it.

As a quick test you can use 'change color palette' to show the available colours within the code, if your client has colour enabled, but limited compatibility you'll be able to see a handful of options in there, but nothing like the full rainbow.

Doggone it, that was it.  *sigh*  Thanks for your help, everyone.  Now I'll see what I can finagle with SimpleMU, or if I'll actually force myself away from it onto something more modern.  :o
