I forgot the password plus was ashamed of the H&S way I treated the game, so I likely just remade a new account, but as time passed, I really did forget the password to account Flint sooo...

That was back in '95 I think?

ANYWAY...

I'm not finding where I can find my number of characters, but I know that it's waaaay too many!!

Prior to Tariq, my average playtime per character was 2.5 days.  Since my return after a 4 year break, I made Tariq (Laborer/Linquist) and racked up something like 76 days played.  Since then, my average per character is 30, even now, my current character is 30 days and 18 hours.

Here we go!!

Tymm was a pickpocket and just as things were starting to go good for him (hired on by a noble house) he was killed by a Gith partially due to Way'ing while riding.  9 days 18 hours played.

Cort, a merchant/physician lasted 32 days and 12 hours.  Fell in love with a merchant and was assassinated in a locked room of a wagon for it.  Lotta good times with Cort.  Haggle is AMAZING!!  Received a compliment from staff for helping out a new player, but in the same compliment, they mentioned how I spam-cooked bread in an apartment without a fire, setting a bad example. 

DEACON!!  40 days and 4 hours.  Force-stored after breaking into the Tuluki pyramid and ransacking every single apartment.  Stole the ring off of a super high-level NPC (sleeping in a chair).  Rode back to Nak and turned all my loot into my Borsail noble, stored the next day.  Lotta good times starting in the Byn then moving along to Borsail.  Burglar / Mercenary.

Mekshit, Assassin/Mercenary.  Was in the Byn, made Trooper as a rinther.  Lots of fun.  SUPER ugly.  I think his nickname was Krathshine.  The balding, splotch-faced or something like that.  Died to an NPC Soldier in Red Storm because someone passed out in front of him and I used the subdue command to move them.  Don't use Subdue in Red Storm!!  19 days 22 hours.

Ratshit, Assassin/Linguist.  21 days 6 hours.  A few characters after Mekshit, but similar thought process.  Joined the Byn.  Had some fun.  Died to a Gith.  :/

Jihae, pickpocket/rebel.  Elf.  Only 2 days and 20 hours played but this is where I learned that NPC stalkers will enter a building and hunt your ass down!!  Stabbed in a bar while afk.  I came back JUST in time to die. 

Spider / Krimel, two separate characters but I gave them both the same nickname of Jade Spider.  No-no.  Both pickpockets.  Both sharps.  I was spamming peek, giving stuff to npc's then stealing it back, no bueno.  I stole something off a guard in the folley and was instantly stored.  Totally my fault.  These characters were way too identical and only one character apart.  Same nickname.  Same location.  I hadn't learned my lesson yet (probably still haven't learned it as well as I should have).

Blacktok, warrior/mercenary.  8 days and 16 hours played.  Stormer.  Don't screw with the alley muls!!  Lesson learned.

TARIQ!!  My first character back after a 4 year break playing Dark Souls.  Laborer/Linguist who wanted to be a Broken Sword in the Byn.  Well, I wasn't sure between the Byn and Salarr, but figured I should get Byn training first before joining Salarr.  Never did Join Salarr despite a HUGE love interest with a blooded merchant who bore him twins (Kajora)...  Made Trooper, Broken Sword, First Trooper, Mercenary, Sergeant, in that order.  Ended up leaving the Byn since Andol was hiring people to kill him and just being an all around total ass (IC, not necessarily OOC?).    While trying to get out of Allanak, was kinda forcibly recruited into Jal as a Swab, then unofficial Foreman, then finally a bastard stored and Tariq was made Foreman.  Had SO MUCH FUN in Jal with the Swabs and Sewers!!  It was EMBARASSING how many times he fell down the Jal stairs though.  NO CLIMB!!  I would wear half a dozen pieces of climbing gear... still fall down the stairs.  Didn't help that he only had one leg after losing the other to a Salt Worm hunt.  NEARLY DIED.  -15hp I think!!  SOMEHOW the saved him.  Fled the worm fight with 37 hp I think, it got in both flee attacks, -15 and OUT!!  So many great adventures and encounters with this character.  The Byn was awesome while he wasn't a SGT.  House Jal was FANTASTIC!!  I still don't know why he was assassinated by the Templarate.  I should've had him reach out to Lord Borsail but alas... 20/20 hindsight.  Who Knows!!  I could go on and on... miss you Gourdo and Perfect!!  What a Team!!  Lots of good times with Gourdo and who was that little female bard that would brawl all the time?  GREAT TIMES!!  Tariq would call latrine duty early, bring everyone to the mess hall, set out half a dozen shots of whisky and say, "If you win, you drink.  If I win, -I- drink."  BRAWL!!  Once I was in Jal, I requested to have the brawl code added to the lower barracks.  YES!!  Tariq was the Byn SGT who told a female runner as they were going into the SGT barracks, "Most Sergeants bring runners back here to kank... so just tell everyone it was smaller than you anticipated and over before you knew it."  Best ERP Scene!!  He and Kajora had an interesting relationship towards the end, then Tariq saw an elf carrying her head.  Porlander was trying to walk him back from the Arena to the Noble Quarter when we slipped through that alley and... there was her head again!!  Oh Man...  Boxed Larimar the mul in Red Storm and smoked him.  So much brawling!!  Found a new romance in Rela.  They would just hang.  Had my own room in the Jal estate.  A tribal human that bought his Nakki citizenship and ended up being Foreman for a Noble house.  He made it.  Too much more to cover.  FANTASTIC character.  Laborer as a Byn SGT (and Jal Foreman) was ROUGH!!  Appreciate everyone who played a part of this character's extremely full life!!  Hate those that ended it far too soon!! 

Aquilis (Gink), 20 days 4 hours, Fighter / Slipknife.  Didn't want to follow in Tariq's steps so I joined the Atrium.  Nearly picked up by Borsail then the noble stored?  Unofficially worked a bit for the OTHER Borsail noble.  First graduate of the Atrium after the re-opening though was NOT sponsored at the time.  Worked as an associate teacher (or something like that).  Ended up joining the Byn.  It gets hairy from here but there was some OOC jealousy and coordination to have my character assassinated in Luir's.  Reported and two characters were stored.  It still hurt because I put so much time and effort into Aquilis and things were absolutely fantastic!!

Bloop, my first half-giant.  Played like 20 days.  He would "make safe" around Storm and in the alleys.  Apparently I forgot my lesson about NOT playing with alley muls.  Or at least when you do, don't two-hand your weapon.  Have a shield.  Oh, and Threaten has a LONG LAG!!  Ended up being able to join the Crimson Wind.  Bought a skimmer, the Drowned Dujat I think it was?  Had a LOT of fun with Damage and Doc (both Crimson Wind characters).  Sorry Hanged Man, but I wish we could've played more together.  Doc was Bloop's best bud.  Playing this character challenged me in ways I hadn't been challenged before.  You have to be creative to develop plots as a half-giant (imho).  He got to the point where he was one-shotting drov beetles.  Never did really RAID anyone if I recall?  Doc and Bloop tried a couple times but... we didn't have the heart.  Well, Doc didn't and Bloop followed Doc so...  Explored the mountains!!  Lots of good times!!  MAKE SAFE!!

Kaarina (Maidenflower).  20+ days played.  An escaped pleasure slave.  Artisan / Krathi-guile.  Found out she was touched so fled to Storm.  Hooked up with the Crimson Wind.  The leader told her to get an apartment for her crafts so she did even though she didn't want to.  Well, that's where she was assassinated.  In her apartment in Storm after turning down a Templar's desire for a dinner date.  Hoge was it?  With a lisp?  Kudos submitted for such a great kill scene even though I obviously wasn't ready for her to die.  While an escaped pleasure slave, she wanted nothing to do with sex.  Didn't even mention bust or butt size in her mdesc despite Max's accusations of her being an fme.  *eyes Max viciously*  Struggled with master craft submissions with this character but I learned what the staff was looking for.  Still, I wasn't fond of being told No, you're doing it wrong.    She also had a skimmer.  I forget the name already.  Lurker's Delight?  She wrote a song called, "The Allanaki Idiot"  (inspired by Green Day's American Idiot)  Again, lots of fun.  Still upset at the CW leader for telling her to get an apartment. 

Katza, scout / house servant.  A TRUE Karma 0 character.  CW Reaver.  Rolecall approved.  Wasn't able to raise quite the crew I had hoped for.  Likely because she wasn't a mul?  Ended up having to store her prior to my mobilization to Africa.  She was fun though.  Had some interesting talks with other mul/s around Red Storm.  Did some silt skimming.  Rode out to do some raiding.  Ran from the militia.  WAY less busy than a Byn Sergeant!!

Current:  Having just enough fun not to store, but continue to contemplate it due to some of these AWESOME role calls!!  Yes, I'm even looking at Byn SGT...

While reviewing my list of characters, I with there was like a 5-year wait time to re-use some of the SUPER Cool names I came up with but only managed to survive 4 hours to a day and a half.

I have had a lot due to explorations gone terrible wrong on 2 days old characters!

1) Kiara - Corporal of His Legions, Had a sorcerer try and buy her baby from her, via sitting on a winged beast upon her balcony!  Use to sit upon a HG's shoulder and slide down it's arm to sit at the bar.  Died to a Kryl on a patrol.

12) Anumi - Corporal of Winrothol guard, cannot remember how she died.

16) Nessima - Akei Sjir.  One of Sinjinn's 'bitches', back in the day.

39) Xis - Odd tribal girl that lived in Tuluk, had someone killed in her apartment, though, the details of it elude me.

57) Rune - Tribal girl, had a split personality.  Cannot remember much else.

126) Mezara - Byn Sergeant.  Wound up as a penned gladiator as she refused to let her unit get killed by the Crimson Wind during a Nenyuk escort.  Nenyuk wouldn't pay the 2 large fee to pass by amon'ma and his crew untouched, instead they called down to them to kill the Byn and escort them to Luirs safely for more.  Meza who had a 'agreement' with Amon, shrugged and said they were all theirs, took her unit and rode to Luirs to meet the Fist and return to collect the wagon, who had at that point lost some 250k to Amon.  Meza's account was drained and she was penned.  She refused to say she belonged to Nenyuk, the two times she appeared in the arena her unit were there, cheering for her. Nobles attempted to buy her out to no avail.  In the end she was stored due to the games running later than I played.

127) Ryssa Salarr - Briefly married to Nico Salarr when he was adopted in to the family via the marriage.  Had a lot of things going on, but, in the end burnt out and stored.

128) Xerana - More commonly known as Rexxi.  Tribal.  Had a flurry of very interesting mates and lovers.  Was involved in literally everything that was going on in some way or another.  Was in the Kadian wagon crash due to it being led off course and over run by gith, only survived this by IG interaction as I was logged off on board when it happened.

129) Merri al'Arabet - Had 6 children with her mate, that was a 'gajah' until he was an accepted outsider into the camp, just so he could be with her and their children. How cuteeeeeee!

132) Takara - Master Crafter with Kurac.  Sanderic-da's baby mumma.

135) Kanika - Oashi Aide - Died because she boinked a noble, and the other noble got grr and was trying to kill her.  Ran her off all the way to the Grasses where she was cuddled by cilops.

138) Niano - Niano Akkeri. Cannot say too much about her, given that the year mark has only just gone by, and, things are still relevant/people are still alive that knew her.  Unblooded Kuraci Dealer, stored to retire with her riches.

Drusim: the giant, burn scarred man- Another Bynner who ended up joining the Arm of the Dragon, trained with the Scorpions a lot, considered Meso a mentor and did a lot of crazy shit with the Lady Templar at the time, whose name I forget but she was called the Butcher. Stored, and I regret it to this day

Drusus: the towering, curly-haired man- my first and only Byn Sergeant, he left the Byn to pursue his brother who had became a sorcerer and promptly died. This was the character I found out Spiders, Beetle and Scrab -will- work together to kill your ass.

Rexus: the burly, scar-ravaged man- A sergeant in the legions, killed by a Rantarri. Had a lot of fun with him, seeing how all those fancy upper-class Tuluki folk acted behind closed doors. The people in the Legion at the time were also a lot of fun, especially this Corporal I had who kept getting into trouble. Once made his whole unit march around the commons naked holding cutlery as weapons because they pissed him off.

Grezian Kadius: the titanic, spike-haired man- Dude didn't live long because I'm a bit of an idiot, but did a lot of stuff with the help of his crew at the time, found out radiation poisoning was a thing with this guy.

Telo: the athletic, amber-eyed man- another former Bynner who left to work with a dwarf named Polain, met a lot of interesting people with him, this is also the guy I was playing when I convinced my now-wife to start playing Arm and now she's better at the game then I've ever been.

Karom: the bestial, yellow-eyed mul- My first ever mul, he struggled with being both so valuable and so hated due to be being pretty mutated.

There are a bunch more, but I think those are my favorites that I can talk about, I may have never added much to the game world but It's all so much fun.

  1) Capri - Dead - first char. I think he was a breed that lol thought the world owed him? Idk I didn't read any docs. Probably died in the rinth.

  11) Dwyvern - Dead - my only dwarf. killed some kids in the rinth because I didn't know better. Shajak/Shabina gave me some good role-play out of it, and I learned about the rinth instead of being murdered. Worked for the guild for a bit.

  12) Rowyn - Dead - joined the Byn. First Trooper Rip became his first friend. Idk if Rip knew it. When Rip died, Rowyn swore vengeance on some rinthi that Rip didn't like. Rowyn used to patrol the rinth and kill people hunting elves, made friends with the Association, and did a bit. The Two Moons came into play and he gradually started hanging out with them. It was a trip into the rinth that got him killed eventually before he could fully join as Easy Trade.

  24) Torin - Dead - Eventually became Sajahain of the Sun Runners. Found an old sorcerous mask and wore it until he died. Killed a Two Moon in Yaroch at the Ocotillo festival after saying "I will kill you if you don't stop saying fuck the Sun Runners," to which the Two Moon said fuck the Sun Runners. Culminated in the Two Moon owing the SR tribute for a long time. Died in Luir's after I pick pocketed someone in front of 8 guards because it was his habit to steal non-valuables for keepsakes. I think he was stealing a 4 Sid gem after giving someone directions lol.

  25) Tokmeat - Stored - redshirt half breed with horns that got to fight for the Ash Lord against Allanak. Good times. Had to store him after.

  26) Skull - Dead - my only half giant. He was raised by raiders and would demand things from people at Luir's. People would tell him that's rude and then give things to him, so he never learned. Died to a carru because my dog was distracting me, while someone in the Garrison was trying to beep me to save me.

  33) Pah - Dead - my Tan Muarki. I had a blast with him embodying the 'be secretive spies and don't tell people who we are' aspect of Tan Muarki docs. Pah was a Kuraci, Garrison, a Songbird, in the Byn at one point, and... I think something else. I don't remember how he died but I think I was tired of him at that point because everyone knew the Tan Muarki by sight at that point and being undercover was impossible. I know I had a lot of RL stuff going on, too.

37) Vierbryn - Dead - black footed Drovian d-elf. had an absolute blast with him. had a mentor with the same element and path, which was amazing role-play, Ijji. died after successfully hunting two wezer that were out and about, skinning them, and getting their glands. died in a hole literally right after on the way back home. I played a Sun Runner next and they were bringing in his body because one of them found it, which was hilarious.

  40) Drego - Stored - my only templar. templars aren't for me.

  41) Calril - Dead - c-elf that ran with Hekta and his crew. Staff did a great job tying in his death with the current plot. He was half-Sandas at a bad time to be a Sandas, and Hekta murdered him.

  42) Michiliito - Stored - Vezeto of the Valuren. Nobody ever actually found out his name, everyone just called him Blackhands. By the time I stored he was a pretty crazy fighter, having learned on his own, and also been training with c-elves that had been around FOREVER. There's still at least one person alive who interacted with him so I won't go into much. I would unstore him in a minute, I just got stir-crazy being in the rinth with so much going on.

  43) Wanderer - Dead - mutated mul stalker. very emo. joined the Garrison. He ended up making friends with the Second and they died because he followed orders without question when out on mission and misunderstood an order. Tried to die saving his Second but she died trying to save him, so the last thing he knew was that he failed at saving her. Sad.

    45) Broker - Dead - Aka Beckett, Beck  AoD Ranger. Ended up dying after murdering a templars aide for clout. Was hired on after saying "I'm the guy that will make sure you're alive in the sands." Beck was a man that kept his word. He was a medic to the team, he saved a templars life and actually got to kank a templars concubine as a reward. He was bound to be sergeant (from private) because of some incompetency in the unit, all he had to do was kill that aide.

  47) Caddoc - Dead - AKA KRULL. A long-lived Kuraci Regular. Was an asshole to those that didn't know him, he was very layered. He's been demoted 2 or 3 times as well during the era of sergeant Ruke and the last of the real regulars
 
  94) Sasi - Dead - Aka, TWIG.  Child rinthi elf (he started at 13 in human years) Kuraci Spy/assassin. Was so good at his job, he actually had a ROOM in the Kuraci mansion all for himself. Managed to take down a whiran that was terrorizing the world with a stroke of luck. Built a close knit crew underneath Visindri-Di that was basically winning armageddon for a while. He was hated by the dust runners and a city elven gang named Painted for the way he acted which, comes as no surprise because he was a child breathing down their necks. I could write a short story on Twig. Died lone-footing his way to Luirs to kank his childhood crush. (he was older at that point). I actually was phone mudding and typo'd, causing death - Yes, I actually phone mudded because my PC broke for the MAJORITY of twigs life.   
  105) Merek - Dead - Oashi Aide that was killed for kanking a nobles concubine, oops

Anyone that interacted with this pc in passing likely thought it was a troll or a meme character, including myself. However, the longer you interacted with this pc the more amazing and fleshed out this concept was and I personally could not get enough. Highly enjoyable both icly and oocly, I played alongside Keveen until his end and adored every second. One of your best I think.

I've got a great log involving keveen daring some trees to be spears and a certain kid in morins adopting our particular style of wearing animals.

Hoge was interesting. Keveen though...? I think it's PROBABLY better that it wasn't staff, but at the same time it makes me disappointed that no one decided to punt it into space and give a good and nice week ban or something - stupid OOCness in IC over and over isn't funny, just dumb.

Older players shouldn't get a free pass and be treated the same way as anyone else.

Firstly I said memorable PC and you clearly remember him. I assure you. Keveen (the flabby, neckbeared man) was not some pet of staff. It was at a time I was kind of jaded by (what I percieved as) unfair staff treatment and rude interactions on a previous PC when I made him and was ready to leave the game.

So yes he started as a meme pc in the concept stage(the "I studied the blade" meme) but I played him within the gameworld and stayed in character always. I am grateful for the players who enjoyed our interactions, I always try to put a lot of effort RPing my characters to the hilt.

The issues I had with staff all those years ago no longer exist and I am glad I have never been banned from a hobby I enjoy. Judge not lest ye be judged yourself.

43) Wanderer - Dead - mutated mul stalker. very emo. joined the Garrison. He ended up making friends with the Second and they died because he followed orders without question when out on mission and misunderstood an order. Tried to die saving his Second but she died trying to save him, so the last thing he knew was that he failed at saving her. Sad.

I know what this story is about, that garrison group and captain went through some crazy stuff.
