Memory while fighting blind

Simple proposal, logical as well:

If you're blind-fighting something or someone (and it's pitch dark), then the target should have no memory of you (and in turn, not auto-attack you when the area is lit).

If it is pitch dark.....how did you manage to engage them in combat to begin with......?
