This is a tricky one to ask, so be careful answering as well.

Alright, so..

stat
Your encumbrance is manageable.
Relationship to the land is neutral.

I am well aware of what that means to a certain class of player, and to a certain RP perspective of certain players regardless of class.

But is there any publicly available info above and beyond?

help stat

Stat                                                             (Characters)

This command provides useful information about your character, including
how encumbered you are (relative to your character's strength), spells
and other special effects, position, and your character's relationship to
the Land (normally, this will be "neutral").

Syntax:
   stat

Notes:
Not all spell effects show up in the stat command.

Character backgrounds are now accessible via the 'biography' command.

<19:14:06> "Bushranger": Why is it always about sex with animals with you Jihelu?
<19:14:13> "Jihelu": IT's not always /with/ animals

There is no publicly available information, and generally speaking the method one would use to alter it isn't something a 'normal' person would really think of.

I know it's not well documented and I don't want to give too much away, but this is really important for combat characters.

It's a measure of both how heavy your load is and and how well you're carrying it.
<Maso> I thought you were like...a real sweet lady.

The helpfile for "pour" and "gather" explain this to an extent. Everything else is Find out IC.

Suggestion:

Characters who don't have need/reason to know their relationship - wouldn't display it in "stat" unless it changed to something other than Neutral.

On a related topic, watering plants boots their output, and caring for the land in that manner may affect your relationship to it.

QuoteWatering these types of plants will increase the rate at which they grow, but you can only water them so much.  The syntax for this is 'pour <waterskin> <plant>'.

According to help pour, it's worth doing because it increases people's rate of recovery.

Related, caring for the earth, which is basically a giant Rukkian elemental or something like that, it will probably care for you back.

So stop leaving scrab guts everywhere and making 'Nak the ACTUAL ballsack of the Known.

The entire planet says to you, in Ruk-accented sirihish,
"Clean up after yourself, you messy heathen!"

It should be noted that very few commoners should ever just start watering plants. Water is far to valuable to basically waste.

Yeah, this is more for gardeners, snowflake tribals, or those trying to maintain a specific plant because it gives them something that is valuable enough to exchange for water.

Keep in mind that water is not as sparse for certain people.
