I don't know if we're allowed to ask but I was given a fairly old version of the map and was wondering if any would be able to get me a updated one on it? Thanks! Don't know if this is allowed or not and if it isn't apologies in advance.

Nope, sorry, in-game information like mappable locations and specific geography is meant to be discovered in-game.  Exchange of in-game information through OOC channels is not to be done.  Exchange of in-game information through In Character channels is half the fun.

You could update the map yourself and keep it for yourself?

Yep, the world has changed quite a bit since that map, but not so drastically that it can't be updated easily as you explore the world. It's pretty much the only way to guarantee the map is accurate, also.  Which a lot of things wont be.
