Ginka

You know, I wondered about this so much. Who's Ginka that everyone on Arm seems to always talk about all the time? Is there some story behind Ginka or something?

Ginka is the name of the server that Armageddon runs on.

It used to be an actual computer passed around between college computer labs and people's houses, but these days lives in The Cloud.

It's also a Zalanthan plant, known for its thorns and blood-red fruit.

Gather round, children, and listen to the epic tale of Ginka:

Ginka is the Blood Goddess.  All objects of worship in Zalanthas, whether the worshipers know it or not, are merely aspects of her terrible splendor.

With appropriate roleplay of course.

And, now we know why spiders spawn so frequently near Allanak.

As much as I will revere the memory of Ginka, to me it will always be "thrash.isca.uiowa.edu" that holds that special place in my heart.

Ahahaha.

You sir, deserve a kiss.

Was there no safety? No learning by heart of the ways of the world? No guide, no shelter, but all was miracle and leaping from the pinnacle of a tower into the air?

I'm not sure if any of you guys saw that creepypasta I made I think in either November or December. It took time to write out and edit, and it had a good atmosphere to it as well.

I remember when it broke and was down for two weeks.  :-\
The sound of a thunderous explosion tears through the air and blasts waves of pressure ripple through the ground.

Looking northward, the rugged, stubble-bearded templar asks you, in sirihish:
     "Well... I think it worked...?"
