Genuine Kandora Jewelry, Coming Soon to a Kadian Shop Near You

Started by Tiernan, February 17, 2014, 10:53:05 AM

Announcing every Kadian merchant's dream!  Another exclusive line of jewelry!  Fashioned by the most prestigious of craftsfolks ever, for all of you who forgot Valentine's Day, now's your chance to make it up!

All joking aside, this latest feature allows for the creation of necklaces & bracelets which can hold their associated charms. Charms can be added to a charm bracelet via 'put' and removed via 'get' specifically, as these are handled through script processing.  Stealthy types should not expect these to be treated like containers, only the bracelet itself is accessible via keyword for you lot.

At present, we have not created any jewelrymaking recipes for players to discover.   They're coming...

Show them your love is true, give them Kandora in Kadian Blue!

Nice addition.  Thank you.

Is this for Bardic Circle charms, or a special set of charms specifically for this type of jewelry? Or both?

Looks like a great addition, and I'm happy to see more features get added to the game.

It shares the same scripting code used for the bardic charmstrings, (i.e. the 'get' and 'put' script) but that's about it for overlap.   Codewise, charms are charms, so the bardic charmstrings could be applied to new bracelets and necklaces.  Of course anyone gauche enough to wear Circle charms should expect an appropriate social response from the bardic community.   ;)

This is pretty neat.

Are any rings tagged as charms?

Could all rings be tagged as charms?
Any questions, comments, or condemnations to an eternity of fiery torment?

Waving a hammer, the irate, seething crafter says, in rage-accented sirihish :
"Be impressed.  Now!"

Hot damn, this is so cool. Thanks, Tiernan!
