Code to set up and take down your tent?

Pitch tent? It's been a while.

I don't always act superior... but when I do it's on the forums of a text-based game

the syntax is make tent

There's a helpfile too!

Child, child, if you come to this doomed house, what is to save you?

A voice whispers, "Read the tales upon the walls."

Make! Doh!

Sorry.  :-X

It must be on the ground in order to make it.

To pitch tent <giggle>:

- drop tent
- make tent
<then you can enter tent>

To take your tent back:

<leave your tent first>
- roll tent
- get tent
"When I was a fighting man, the kettle-drums they beat;
The people scattered gold-dust before my horse's feet;
But now I am a great king, the people hound my track
With poison in my wine-cup, and daggers at my back."

DO NOT >break tent
You will not like the results, I assure you. (unless of course, you just stumbled upon your enemy's hideout)

Also do not 'kill tent'.

You can, however, 'shake tent'.

If you are near a tent and use "shake" thinking you will shake your head in answer to someone talking to you, you will shake the tent. It can be awkward IC.

It's a bug. I bugged it.

And there was some dwarf smoking spice, and I thought that was so scandalous because I'd only been playing in 'nak.
