As it stands you can toggle 'review' either on or off.

I think it would be quite nice if you could add a little bit about what it is you want reviewed (if you want). For example

> review elf rp

> review crafting emotes

> review dwarven focus

> review discovering magick

> review 'nak politics

> review thinks and feels

> review mudsex

Basically allowing you to ask for feedback on a particular area of your roleplay that you're new to, simply unsure about, or you've never had any feedback about - so you're wondering if you're doing it right.

So then...we've got two players Amos and Talia. Amos wants feedback on his mudsexing and Talia wants feedback on her foraging rp. The staff can take a look at both and see that Amos isn't mudsexing right now, he's actually spam crafting so they go to Talia who -is- foraging. They can now give her feedback on the area that she is feeling unsure about.

I don't always act superior... but when I do it's on the forums of a text-based game

Sounds pretty funky.

fuck authority smoke weed erryday

oh and here's a free videogame.

That would be too much on the staff.  So no.  Plus they have code that can tell them who is spamming to level up their skills.  Also from PC reports and what other players say.

If you've been playing for a few years or more, I think you've got a pretty solid understanding of what's good RP and what's bad RP. Just because a player applies for staff and becomes accepted doesn't mean they can suddenly critique your RP of an elf, a dwarf's focus, magick, etc. better than they would have before they joined staff - or for that matter any better than yourself.

Although this is a neat idea, the "review" command has become more outdated in favor of the request tool, anyway - where it is easy and acceptable to ask for for staff's opinion on how you're doing, as well as advice, etc. It would probably fit best into a character report.

Yes. Now not only do all clans have staff,  but unclanned also have staff--currently Lacustre and Rathustra according to http://www.armageddon.org/ic/#Unclanned.

My suggestion is to set the review flag to on and forget about it, but more importantly to send in weekly reports to your staff. Heck, I started with monthly reports around the 1st of the month, plus other details more or less as they happen.
"I have seen him show most of the attributes one expects of a noble: courtesy, kindness, and honor.  I would also say he is one of the most bloodthirsty bastards I have ever met."

Just repeating others:

It's a cool idea, but regular reporting will make sure staff knows you're around and want feedback.
