MUSH client: font changes back every time I close the client

Started by Iiyola, November 12, 2011, 11:10:52 PM

Been trying a couple of things now, unchecking the override with default every single time.

Still, it changes back to the original font -_-

Help?

Do you save the world on close?
A dark-shelled scrab pinches at you, but you dodge out of the way.
A dark-shelled scrab brandishes its bone-handled, obsidian scimitar.
A dark-shelled scrab holds its bloodied wicked-edged, bone scimitar.

It denies when I want to save, closing world.

99% problem is with user account control.

Vista and windows 7 I would guess.

Try right clicking the program and running as administrator.

*smooches you*

Windows 7 yes, and your tip worked!!!

No problem glad it helped.  You will have to do that every time you start the program, or
Rightclick the shortcut, select properties.
Select compatibility tab, check run as administrator and click apply.

Then you can double click the icon normally and make changes that will save.

:)

Also if you use CCleaner or other registry cleaning software, it'll revert your mushclient back to default, which is not win7 compatible and you'll have to re-install and re-create your desktop icon and re-configure it to admin all over again.

I'm taking an indeterminate break from Armageddon for the foreseeable future and thereby am not available for mudsex.
