When I was playing a high-karma special app role that was doing surprisingly well all considering, I died due to being drunk IRL.

For some reason I thought I was in a marketplace, when I was actually on a silt skimmer, and typed:

So, thinking I simply was not near the appropriate vendor, typed

The other (related) problem I have is smoking up before I play. It rachets up my social anxiety to the point where interactions with PCs are just too stressful for me. It makes my solo-RP rock, though.

I had a character a few months back... I'm pretty sure I was under the influence of something every time I logged in with him. I wonder if anybody ever noticed...

When my social anxiety flares up, I do a generally shitty job with solo RP. I don't like the idea that someone could be watching.

On topic, I learned not to play drunk a long time ago after an interview for a certain northern noble house. I made a fool of myself and ate away an hour of someone's arm time... .

I know what you mean. Though usually I have to be pretty damn ripped before I start to second guess my emotes etc...Arm and weed go together awesome. Not so much booze...I don't even bother logging in when I'm drunk.

Back in the Expansion Division it kinda seemed like it worked a WHOLE lot better if you played whilst drunk. My favorite RPT ever was an excursion with the ED, I was not even remotely sober for that. Good times.

When I play drunk I get inspired to RP really elaborate emotes.

I manage to fuck up everything else though, like messing up syntax, forgetting what the character is holding, falling asleep...

Thankfully I always force myself to quit as soon as I get retarded ideas about going out into the wastes.
