Then again, I can't imagine either race being attracted to each other enough to consider rape, and besides, who really knows what's beneath a gith's loincloth, anyhow?  They might reproduce by rubbing noses or something.

I believe there has been one in the past, in game.  If not, then the PC was just damn ugly, and a damn good liar, because he had most of Allanak fooled.

This would have been somewhere near 2002, or 2003... though I can't, for the life of me, remember the PC's name.

There are also certain cultures who would perhaps have a higher chance of this happening, and not through force.

The combination of 'gith' and 'giant' and them getting babies... and the word I thought you used was 'wreck'.  I couldn't stop laughing there for a bit.

On topic, though, the only people I can see trying to make half-gith are those wacky sorcerers and their magick experiments.  Presumably that's how half-giants came about.  I do not think sex would be involved while lots of duress would be.

a mad scientist.

the zalanthan equivalent: a highly-born noble, templar or even a combo of a noble born a magicker, or a collaboration between two of these types, with the money, spare time, and insanity (though really, only the person holding the gun to or pulling the strings of the other person need be insane) to wish to do something like this. maybe someone from house winrothol or someone else who would already have a knowledge of how to get slaves for the experiments.

this just sounds nice IG, i'd like to be in allanak if this were to happen at some point, just so i could watch some festering heap of body parts attempt to climb over the elementalist's quarter wall and try to flee the city. or a success that escapes the city with incredible ease, and then goes on to kill, or simply to hide and become a rarity or a race of them, which will be always hunted by allanak.

i propose, to an inappropriately old thread which is half relevant, the following ideas for races.

1. due to the following, the idea that humans are breedable with all other races and are the only that are so.
2. half-gith
3. half-mantis
4. half-... halfling.

thus dropping half-elves from the bottom rung of common (? depends on the proper background and likelihood of these occuring) and replacing them with half-gith. half-mantis are virtually unstoppable when it comes to speed, and half... halflings can and crave corpse meat.

i realize the futility of the bull i am saying and stop here in the hopes that i inspire someone to come up with something saner.
