New Request Tool Options: Clan Related Requests

We have opened up a series of new requests types for communicating with your clan staff.  In doing this, we moved some of the existing clan-related requests under the new category of requests.

Clan Related:
   Clan Page Access - Request access to clan page documentation.
   Character Report - Give us an update on your character's progress.
   Item Orders - Request items to be ordered to fulfill the needs of your clans (sales, clan gear, etc...)
   Join a Clan Forum - Request access to a clan's GDB Forum.
   Leave a Clan Forum - Request to be removed from a clan's GDB Forum.
   Question/Request - For any other clan-related issue that doesn't fit in the other categories

The request tool has the ability for staff to ask you questions and for you to respond, so this should greatly reduce your need to email your clan staff.  If you find you still need to mail clan staff about something, please let me know and we can see if another request tool category makes sense, or if it's OK to continue emailing that.

We do realize that many of you were combining your character reports with your item orders.  We are now asking you to submit these separately as they can be worked on separately, and we'd like to be able to do so.

IMPORTANT If you have existing Item Orders that you are waiting on, please submit them through the request tool.  We will NOT be responding to email requests for Item Orders anymore.

There are several reasons why we are doing this, including better accountability, prioritization and visibility to things that need to be reacted to, as well as to give you knowledge of the amount of work that goes into supporting the game through the request tool summary on the weekly report.  We are also hoping this will help with recent issues we've had with receiving emails due to issues with Google's bulk email policy.

As there is apparently some confusion over this, when sending in your Character Report, if you normally would have put Item Orders in with it, we ask that you separate it out into an Item Order request.  In your Character Report you can ask any other IC/OOC or questions you need to as related to your character's life over the previous however long you go between reports.

Also note, that the session WILL time out if you take to long to enter your report.  If you are prone to take a long time to write your report we highly suggest you type it up outside of the request tool (in your favorite editor) then post it into the request tool when you're ready to submit it.  You may have to format the text once it's in the request tool.

Per request from clan staff we have added a new option 'Clan Related : Role Application'.  Please use that in the future for roles that are advertised on the GDB or to pre-submit roles for clans that require that (like certain tribals).  See the clan list on the armageddon.org page for which clans require pre-approval.
